Desde el 2022 tenía pendiente ver esta miniserie, seguí los avances de la producción y finalmente al salir el tráiler me terminó de enganchar. Es una adaptación del clásico literario El Conde de Montecristo.

No soy fanática de sus trabajos, he visto algunos que me han gustado y aunque son en español mi crítica siempre ha sido su acento, él es de origen Cubano y su acento es marcado. Cuando vi que Montecristo se había filmado una parte en Cuba, pensé que su actuación sería perfecta 😂. Recrearon una escena donde tuvo que hablar y hacerse pasar por mexicano y creo que lo hizo fatal a tal punto que en el mismo diálogo bromearon con eso.
The main character is the actor William Levy and he is also the producer of this series. I am not a fan of his work, I have seen some that I have liked and although they are in Spanish my criticism has always been his accent, he is of Cuban origin andhis accent is thick. When I saw that Montecristo was filmed in Cuba, I thought his performance would be perfect 😂. They recreated a scene where he had to speak and impersonate a Mexican and I think he did a terrible job to the point that in the same dialogue they joked about it.
Aunque el actor por su apariencia queda perfecto en diferentes protagónicos, para mí una de sus debilidades está en su dicción, en ocasiones cuesta entender algunas palabras.
Una de las cosas que me gustó de la serie es que se desarrolla en la actualidad, se habla de empresas tecnológicas, hay hackeos a sistemas de seguridad importantes y finalmente se deja ver alguna información sobre criptomonedas.
En cuanto a la trama me pareció sencilla, nada profunda, me mantuvo entretenida. Lloré, tuve momentos de tensión y emoción. Me gusto que fue concisa, de hecho solo son 6 capítulos, no se dilató en el tiempo, mostraron cada cosa de manera rápida y no hubo momento de aburrimiento.
Although the actor looks perfect in different roles, for me one of his weaknesses is in his diction, sometimes it's hard to understand some words.
One of the things I liked about the series is that it takes place in the present, it talks about technology companies, there are hacks to important security systems and finally some information about cryptocurrencies.
As for the plot I found it simple, nothing deep, it kept me entertained. I cried, I had moments of tension and emotion. I liked that it was concise, in fact there are only 6 chapters, it was not dilated in time, they showed everything quickly and there was no moment of boredom.

La línea de tiempo no fue continúa, pero estuvo bien trabajada. De hecho, había momentos que pensaba me hubiese gustado saber qué pasó antes y automáticamente aparecían las escenas del antes. Así que la secuencia, aunque no estuvo ordenada, deja claro toda la historia. Quede sorprendida con un personaje en particular, el cual tuvo participación de inicio a fin. Finalmente, no era lo que yo creía.
The timeline was not continuous, but it was well worked. In fact, there were moments when I thought I would have liked to know what happened before and automatically the scenes from before appeared. So the sequence, although not ordered, makes the whole story clear. I was surprised with one character in particular, who was involved from beginning to end. Me parece que hubo buena producción, detalles cuidados, mostraron escenarios de Cuba y España bonitos.

Hubo escenas XX o X1/2 que para mí estuvieron de más, puedo asumir que sería para vender un poco más la serie. Sacando el mayor provecho al protagonista.

El mensaje final de venganza y perdón, me reí mucho porque al final estaba tan metida en la trama que yo quería seguir con la venganza 😂😂😂, pero es que Edmundo había sufrido mucho o tal vez perdido mucho. No sé si habrá segunda temporada porque el final fue como la historia de amor feliz, aunque a mí me hubiese gustado saber qué pasaría con los otros personajes.

El Conde de Montecristo es un ade mis pbras literarios preferidas. Vi una versión en una telenovelaargentina que por cierto no termino. El porque no lo se.
Voy a buscarla para disfrutar de este serie. Contraria atu opinión, a mi si me gusta las actuaciones del actor William Levy.
