Obviously it's inspired by Cars, but it doesn't take anything away from it, this movie is beautiful
This will be a beautiful review, a movie that I loved when I was a kid, Planes is an animated film produced by Disney. Its director is Klay Hall and it was released in 2013. The plot follows Dusty, a farm plane who dreams of becoming a racing plane. The movie is an inspiring story about following your dreams, working hard and overcoming obstacles. I loved the story overall, it does a very good job of teaching all kids that ANYTHING is possible in this life.
The movie starts with Dusty, a crop duster working in a corn field, dreaming of becoming a race plane. Despite the doubts of his friends, Dusty decides to enter an air race to prove he can be a racing plane. After going through several tests, Dusty is accepted into the race. However, it is not an easy road for Dusty, as he has to face many obstacles, such as his fear of heights and his lack of racing experience.
From the very beginning, the film makes you laugh with its silly and absurd humor. Dusty is a hilarious character with a quirky personality and a southern accent that will bring a smile to your face every time he speaks. As he strives to achieve his dreams, his journey is filled with hilarious stumbles, including rigorous training, mechanical failures and nasty competitors.
During the race, Dusty encounters several interesting characters, including El Chupacabra, a Mexican airplane who falls in love with a French airplane named Rochelle, and Bulldog, a British war veteran airplane who acts as Dusty's mentor. There is also a villain in the film, Ripslinger, an arrogant racing plane who wants to win the race at all costs. There are always these types of villains in Disney movies, we saw it in Cars as well.
What makes Planes an interesting movie is its inspirational message. Dusty is not your typical Disney movie hero, as he is an agricultural airplane and has no racing experience. However, he has a dream and is willing to work hard to achieve it. The movie shows that if you have a goal and work hard, you can achieve whatever you set your mind to.
The animation in the film is stunning. The aerial landscapes are beautiful and the racing scenes are thrilling. The music is also a highlight of the film. The soundtrack features songs from famous artists, which perfectly complement the story and scenes.
Another positive aspect of the film is its voice cast. Dusty is voiced by Dane Cook, who does a great job of bringing the character to life. Also present are very famous voices, who do a great job of voicing the other characters.
However, Planes also has some weaknesses. Even though it is a Disney movie, some of the jokes are a bit forced and don't always work. Also, the plot is not particularly original and follows the same pattern as other Disney films. It can also be argued that the film is a bit predictable, especially when it comes to the final outcome of the race.
Airplanes is a fun and exciting animated film that has an inspiring message for viewers. The animation and music are excellent, and the voices of the cast do a great job of bringing the characters to life. While the plot is not particularly original and some of the jokes are a bit forced, the film is an excellent choice for any audience.
