Over the last week, I got plenty of youtube suggestions from the "Wednesday" TV Series. At first, I thought it was just another gothic movie or tv show, but when digging into that I realized it is based on Adam's family. Everyone knows who Adam's family is. It's a fictional family, but the characters and their unique symbols remain unchanged for decades.
I remember there was an episode of the Scooby Doo cartoon with adam's family.
Wednesday, the eldest daughter of Gomez and Morticia is not an easy girl. She is a very tough, fearless, and scary teenager who doesn't seem to have any soft emotions. She is really caring of her brother but seems not that interested in the behavior of their parents. The series starts with a scene of school children bullying her brother. As revenge, she puts piranas into the swimming pool where the boys practice. Wednesday was kicked out of her school and her parents took her to Nevermore Academy where they also studied.
Eventhough Wednesday wanted to skip from school for the first few days, the story turns into a different direction.
Wednesday's interest turns to investigating a serial killer who is committing brutal murders. Wednesday's fearless and straightforward attitude leads her to match the pieces of this crime puzzle. The story is full of mystery, horror, and excitement.
Eventhough Wednesday is not a relationship-friendly personality, two boys, Taylor and Xavier both try to win her heart and try to become close to her. Wednesday always deprioritizes any kind of relationship but she later shows interest on Taylor over Xavier.
The dancing scene of this movie was a hit due to its energetic movements. It's a different type of dance, mixed with some gothic-style movements.
Until the last moment, you can watch this story with the same excitement. Season 1 contains 8 episodes and finally, Wednesday catches the serial killer and things turn in an unbelievable direction.
It's really worth watching..
Do you think that Wednesday will have its second season? The serial killer when it revealed in the end is very mind blowing haha.
Although the series have elements of horror, I could say that I only feel suspense, full of mysteries, and excitement from it.
I am sure there will be a second season for that and I am waiting for it.
I'm absolutely obsessed with the Addamses, I'm even watching the 1964 series.
