I've been revisiting some episodes of Arrested Development for a few days now, and I wanted to talk a bit about my experience.
I have always loved this series, I consider it to be one of the culprits of my reborn love for comedy, released in 2003 on FOX and created by Mitchell Hurwitz, Arrested Development was ahead of its time, with a fast-paced, single format -camera and tons of gags per minute, it's almost as if cable TV isn't ready for them. Although they received a large number of awards and nominations, during its original duration of 3 seasons it always suffered in terms of ratings.

Netflix and the streaming era revived it, there it found a passionate cult audience, which keeps it more relevant than ever.

The first season of Arrested Development especially, features hit after hit, focusing on the Bluth family, their financial crises and how Michael Bluth tries to keep everything in order.

The heart of Arrested Development is in its characters and how they interact with each other, Jason Bateman, Michael Cera, Will Arnett, David Cross and the brilliant Jessica Walter create a toxic and dynamic environment where every interaction is pure gold. Most of the gags in the series are built on their characters and how they react to the actions of others.

All of this, enhanced by the iconic storytelling of Ron Howard, who does nothing more than add layers and layers of depth to a disastrous and comical cocktail.

Arrested Development not only survives the passage of time (even in its most bitter and not politically correct moments) but it is also benefited by it, the return visits, and enjoying its episodes almost in a loop allow each of its jokes to be absorbed.

A testament to good direction and the importance of a solid script, a script that can leave series from the past, present and future in diapers.

AD, to put it in analogies, works like a hard drug, rendering all those that were softer useless.

Irreverent and surprising, two terms that have applied to her since 2003, only now we notice it much more easily.

bruh, my bad. Also, every comment that you have made in this platform is negative, fuck off, go to twitter or something

Everyone that I know that has seen this series absolutely loves it but yet, I have never watched a single episode. Thanks for the reminder as I am going to download a season of it right now. It's time I understood what all the hooplah is all about.

Man, it’s amazing. If you enjoy comedies like The Office or Parks And Rec, Arrested Development is the king

That's a great way of explaining it. I'll get it today. Thanks for the info!
