RON & CINE es un espacio para compartir reseñas de películas y series de la manera más clara y precisa sin andar dando tantas vueltas contándote la historia de sus directores o protagonistas. Mi estilo es más compacto e intentaré contarte desde mi opinión personal lo que pienso sea sobre una serie o película marcando puntos importantes que pueden ser de gran importancia y que tú como espectador puedas digerir con facilidad sin tener que estar leyendo de más.

RUM & CINEMA is a space to share reviews of movies and series in the most clear and precise way without going around telling the story of their directors or protagonists. My style is more compact and I will try to tell you from my personal opinion what I think about a series or movie marking important points that can be of great importance and that you as a viewer can easily digest without having to read too much.

GOLD es una película del año 2022 bajo el género Suspenso/Misterio con 1h 37m de duración que nos sumerge en un mundo donde las fuentes de trabajo no son lo más atractivo y conseguir un lugar donde vivir en paz es como encontrar agua en el desierto.
Protagonizada por (Zac Efron), (Anthony Hayes) bajo la dirección del mismísimo (Anthony Hayes) una película australiana donde sobrevivir será la prioridad número uno de nuestro protagonista principal solo que en esta ocasión será del mismo.
¿DE QUÉ TRATA LA PELÍCULA?
¡TE LO CUENTO RÁPIDO Y SIN SPOILERS, POR SI AÚN NO LA HAS VISTO!
Conoceremos a un hombre (Zac Efron) que llega a una estación de servicio en busca de un chofer que lo lleve a la tierra prometida donde kilómetros de total desierto lo separa de ese paraje soñado y debe llegar lo antes posible. Contrata los servicios de un veterano y no me refiero a un hombre de guerra, no más bien a una persona que conoce lo crudo del mundo y lo que puede hacer con hombres débiles de mente.
Inicia este viaje con Keith (Anthony Hayes) en su viejo vehículo bajo el sol caliente del desierto donde cada gota de agua es una oportunidad para seguir con vida y no caer en la locura total. Durante este viaje ambos personajes intentan conocer un poco del otro revisando cada centímetro de lo que sus palabras y expresiones puedan compartir y saber ante qué persona están parados.

GOLD is a film of the year 2022 under the genre Suspense/Mystery with 1h 37m of duration that immerses us in a world where the sources of work are not the most attractive and get a place to live in peace is like finding water in the desert.
Starring (Zac Efron), (Anthony Hayes) under the direction of the same (Anthony Hayes) an Australian film where survival will be the number one priority of our main protagonist only this time it will be the same.
WHAT IS THE MOVIE ABOUT?
I'LL TELL YOU QUICKLY AND WITHOUT SPOILERS, IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET!
We meet a man (Zac Efron) who arrives at a gas station looking for a driver to take him to the promised land where miles of total desert separates him from that dream place and he must get there as soon as possible. He hires the services of a veteran and I don't mean a man of war, but rather a person who knows the harshness of the world and what it can do to weak-minded men.
He starts this journey with Keith (Anthony Hayes) in his old vehicle under the hot desert sun where every drop of water is an opportunity to stay alive and not fall into total insanity. During this journey both characters try to get to know a little bit of each other by checking every inch of what their words and expressions can share and know before which person they are standing.
Durante el viaje sucede un pequeño contratiempo y esto los obliga a buscar la forma de salir lo más rápido de ella porque la noche y los lobos no son la mejor compañía en el desierto y menos para dos hombres con hambre de libertad. El personaje de (Zac Efron) intenta liderar con la situación y se aleja para pensar con más claridad lo que está sucediendo y controlar esa ansiedad por llegar a su destino.
Lo cual hace que se tope con algo que nunca creyó en ningún momento de su vida toparse y es que la verdad nadie ni en sus mejores sueños podría soñar con lo que está ante los ojos de nuestro protagonista que puede cambiar o destruir tu vida si no sabemos como actuar y sobre todo reflexionar sobre el siguiente paso. Se topa con una roca de Oro enorme que no sabríamos calcular su valor y menos en un mundo donde este mineral no tiene casi existencia y es como toparse con la fuente de la juventud.
Este momento tan inesperado pone a nuestro protagonista contra la pared ante una difícil decisión de compartir este gran descubrimiento o compartirlo con un desconocido del cual no confía y menos en un mundo que es gobernado por lobos sedientos de sangre. Esto genera un conflicto consigo mismo, ya que si se queda solo no podría conseguir sacarlo y si comparte esto puede que lo pierda ante las manos de un lobo feroz. El sol calienta su cabeza y la soledad no parece ser la compañía perfecta ni de mucha ayuda si desea poseer esa enorme roca de Oro.
➡️ During the trip a small setback happens and this forces them to find a way to get out of it as quickly as possible because the night and the wolves are not the best company in the desert and less for two men hungry for freedom. The character of (Zac Efron) tries to lead with the situation and walks away to think more clearly what is happening and control that anxiety to reach their destination.
Which makes him run into something that he never thought at any time in his life to run into and is that the truth is that no one even in their best dreams could dream of what is before the eyes of our protagonist that can change or destroy your life if we do not know how to act and especially reflect on the next step. He comes across a huge rock of Gold that we would not know how to calculate its value and even less in a world where this mineral has almost no existence and it is like coming across the fountain of youth.
This unexpected moment puts our protagonist against the wall with a difficult decision to share this great discovery or share it with a stranger whom he does not trust, especially in a world that is ruled by bloodthirsty wolves. This generates a conflict with himself, for if he is left alone he might not be able to get it out and if he shares this he might lose it at the hands of a ferocious wolf. The sun warms his head and solitude does not seem to be the perfect company or of much help if he wishes to possess that huge rock of Gold.
¿Compartirías esa fortuna con un desconocido?, teniendo en cuenta que solo no podrás y que el desierto es tu peor enemigo si no lo conoces a la perfección, esto sin duda explotará tu cabeza y nuestro protagonista tendrá que liderar con esto de inicio a fin. Te invito a que le eches un vistazo, ya que seguir compartiendo de lo que trata la película no es lo mejor, porque podríamos caer en una serie de Spoilers y en esta oportunidad no deseo revelarte nada solo compartir mi opinión sobre el filme.
MI OPINIÓN LIBRE DE SPOILERS
Las películas con temática de sobrevivencia son atractivas para mí porque ponen al límite a sus actores para que logren transmitir a través de sus personajes situaciones extremas, mortales y tan incómodas que hagan que el espectador no quiera retirar la mirada de la pantalla y que lo sienta en carne viva hacía sea su imaginación quien genere esas emociones, sensaciones y un legítimo desespero.
Películas como The Revenant, 127 Hours, Breaking Surface, las cuales he tenido la oportunidad de ver y creo que las más conocidas por la comunidad que disfruta de este género puede estar de acuerdo que transmiten al pie de la letra todas esas emociones y por lo cual la convierten en películas que valen la pena ver.
GOLD lo hace de una manera más sutil y se concentra en cómo la mente humana puede ser quebrantada por ella misma cuando no se tiene el control total y esto pone al protagonista en la cuerda floja, ya que lo veremos pasar por momentos donde la cordura cuelga de un hilo y nada es lo que parece.

MY SPOILER-FREE OPINION.
Survival-themed films are attractive to me because they push their actors to the limit so that they manage to transmit through their characters extreme, deadly and uncomfortable situations that make the viewer not want to look away from the screen and feel it in the flesh, making his imagination the one who generates those emotions, sensations and legitimate despair.
Films like The Revenant, 127 Hours, Breaking Surface, which I have had the opportunity to see and I think the most known by the community that enjoys this genre can agree that transmit to the letter all those emotions and therefore make them films worth watching.
GOLD does it in a more subtle way and concentrates on how the human mind can be broken by itself when it is not in total control and this puts the protagonist on a tightrope, as we will see him go through moments where sanity hangs by a thread and nothing is what it seems.
Aunque posee una trama sencilla y nada fuera de lo que se podría esperar de este género si puedo destacar que trabajó muy bien en los detalles físicos del personaje principal porque es la entrada hacia el espectador donde podemos visualizar su estado de ánimo, metal y lo que pasa por su cabeza cada segundo. Un maquillaje espectacular acompañado de una vista impactante que no será de las mejores que verás, pero sin duda va de la mano con la historia.
ACTORES Y SUS PERSONAJES
Las películas sobre sobrevivencia cuentan con pocos personajes en escena y esto lo hace más atractivo, ya que solo dependerá de una persona salir con vida o morir en el intento de una situación donde solo puede existir una salida.
El personaje interpretado por (Anthony Hayes) es al que yo llamo el Lobo ese animal que posee un instinto de sobrevivencia que sabe distinguir las ovejas de otro depredador que sea capaz de encarar su presencia y cuando fija su próxima víctima no la deja en paz hasta que logra de manera tajante su cometido cazar y destruir.
Lo que me parece super acertado y que equilibra una película que solo cuenta con un escenario y par de personajes que interactúan por un momento dando pie a que se desate una serie de acontecimientos que provocan todo un mar de emociones que logran distraer a cualquiera de la realidad y sumergirse dentro de la mente humana y hasta donde somos capaces de llegar por aquello que deseamos.
➡️ Although it has a simple plot and nothing out of what you would expect from this genre I can highlight that he worked very well in the physical details of the main character because it is the entrance to the viewer where we can visualize his mood, metal and what goes through his head every second. A spectacular makeup accompanied by a stunning view that will not be one of the best you'll see, but certainly goes hand in hand with the story.
ACTORS AND THEIR CHARACTERS.
Survival movies have few characters on the scene and this makes it more attractive, since it will only depend on one person to get out alive or die trying in a situation where there can only be one way out.
The character played by (Anthony Hayes) is what I call the Wolf that animal that has a survival instinct that knows how to distinguish the sheep from another predator that is able to face its presence and when it sets its next victim does not leave it alone until it achieves its mission to hunt and destroy.
What seems to me super successful and that balances a film that only has a scenario and a couple of characters that interact for a moment giving rise to a series of events that trigger a whole sea of emotions that manage to distract anyone from reality and dive into the human mind and how far we are able to go for what we want.
Por otro lado, tenemos al personaje de (Zac Efron) que debo confesar me sorprendió verlo en un papel como este donde sin duda el maquillaje ayudo un poco, pero que no le quita valor a su interpretación que es lo suficiente creíble para caer en situación y no dejar escapar ningún detalle. Un hombre que desea tanto una libertad y vivir no solo en un lugar alejado de lo que el mundo se ha convertido que saca lo peor de ti y para ello debe llegar a la tierra prometida que es lo que le hace falta para darle una vuelta de 360 grados a su vida, pero el toparse con todo esto crea en su mente realidades distintas que lo hacen pensar que toda su vida lo trajo hasta este momento y es por ello que decide sacrificar todo por una solo oportunidad sin tener garantía de nada solo lo que sus ojos le pueden asegurar.
Dos personajes distintos con un hambre de riqueza y un corazón donde la maldad y la inocencia no pueden compartir un mismo espacio.
¿LA RECOMIENDO?
Deben tener en cuenta que la trama nos comparte un poco de lo que la ambición y la viveza humana puede lograr en situaciones donde no existe una gota de lealtad y que cualquiera puede ganar o perder jugando con sus propias reglas. Las 2 horas de duración considero que fueron un poco exageradas, ya que te puedes topar con momentos repetitivos y que solo te repiten lo que ya fue expuesto, pero no es de alarmarse, porque son en momentos distantes y eso es lo positivo. Ver al actor (Zac Efron) fuera de su zona de confort es un regalo y no soy muy amante de sus películas, pero está en especial tiene un lugar especial y en mis películas favoritas.
Por ser sencilla y directa la recomiendo sin duda alguna.
➡️ On the other hand, we have the character of (Zac Efron) that I must confess I was surprised to see him in a role like this where no doubt the makeup helped a little, but that does not detract from his interpretation that is credible enough to fall into situation and not miss any detail. A man who wants so much a freedom and live not only in a place away from what the world has become that brings out the worst in you and for this he must reach the promised land which is what he needs to give a 360 degree turn to his life, but running into all this creates in his mind different realities that make him think that his whole life brought him to this moment and that is why he decides to sacrifice everything for a single opportunity without having a guarantee of anything only what his eyes can assure him.
Two different characters with a hunger for wealth and a heart where evil and innocence cannot share the same space.
DO I RECOMMEND IT?
You must keep in mind that the plot shares with us a little of what ambition and human liveliness can achieve in situations where there is not a drop of loyalty and anyone can win or lose playing by their own rules. The 2 hours of duration I think were a bit exaggerated, since you can run into repetitive moments that only repeat what has already been exposed, but it is not alarming, because they are in distant moments and that's the positive thing. Seeing the actor (Zac Efron) out of his comfort zone is a gift and I'm not a big fan of his movies, but this one has a special place in my favorite movies.
For being simple and straightforward I recommend it without a doubt.

El tiempo es demasiado, le hubieran quitado 30 minutos y no hubiera afectado en nada.
Falto desarrollar más al personaje principal, conocer su pasado para entender lo que ocurría en su cabeza y lo que lo hizo llegar hasta ese momento en su vida.
LO BUENO
Un final particular, pero con un mensaje tan claro como el agua misma.
El maquillaje y ambiente son caóticos, oscuros y con un nivel de tensión que va de la mano con la trama.

- The time is too long, they would have taken 30 minutes off and it wouldn't have affected anything.
- The main character lacked more development, to know his past to understand what was going on in his head and what made him get to that point in his life.
THE GOOD THING
- A particular ending, but with a message as clear as water itself.
- The make-up and atmosphere are chaotic, dark and with a level of tension that goes hand in hand with the plot.

Ahhhhh es que el post es escritooooo, por qué yo pensé que lo había visto y era en video?? Que me pasa?? Debe ser que me confundí con tus otros perfiles amigo Aderney jajajaja, aún me falta para adaptarme a la división de tus facetas.
Me encantó el post!!! la descripción del personaje de Zac Efron me llama la atención, y justo lo que dices esas películas donde ponen a los personajes al extremo para ver lo peor de ellos, eso que nos da escalofríos de ver sobre la realidad humana, es lo que más me agrada se ese tipo de películas.
Lo de la comparación con un lobo me encantó, porque si es como lo describes entonces entiendo a lo que te refieres; me gusta eso que dices de la ambientación, a mi me fascina admirar las ambientaciones de las películas, el juego de colores, esta se ve bestial por eso, y si solo el maquillaje dices que hace que se vean en sus personajes, entonces ya me imagino como es, y eso es algo que me atrae muchísimo de las pelis.
Trataré de verla, pero eso que dices de 2 horas de film, me mata, no tanto por mi, si no por el estupido internet que no me deja ver nada.

Holaaa @liveofdalla bueno no exageres jajaja solo son 3 cuentas con temáticas diferentes jajaja, pero relajada que te entiendo.
Es brutal y es que se meen en la cabeza del personaje principal lo cual lo ponen contra la pared en diferentes ocasiones que sientes que es contigo la cosa. No es la mejor de la historia, pero si lo suficientemente buena para dejarte con un buen sabor de boca.

Jamas había escuchado sobre esta película pero gracias a tu post me parece que es una historia genial para ver y merece la pena, soy fan de la película 127horas, me encanto como contaron esa historia y lo más sorprendente que fuera en la vida real, tu post quedo increíble!
127 Horas te sumerge en pura tensión y mas si la vistes cuando se estreno ya que no habían muchas películas de ese estilo y menos con tanto poder y me refiera a crear esos momentos incomodos donde uno podía sentir lo que el protagonista y no lo digo literal, pero si te dejaba una sensación incomoda en el cuerpo.
