EL BIEN Y EL MAL SIEMPRE HAN EXISTIDO Y JUGADO UN PAPEL IMPORTANTE EN CADA SER VIVO EN LA TIERRA, DONDE LAS REGLAS HAN SIDO ESCRITAS EL CASTIGO PUESTO Y LO DEMÁS QUEDA A LA IMAGINACIÓN.
Un saludo cordial a toda la comunidad Cinéfila ando nuevamente por aquí con una pequeña reseña de una particular película que tuve la oportunidad de ver hace unos días y que me gustaría compartir con todos ustedes de qué trata y quizás se animen a echarle un vistazo si aún no la han visto.
Antes de dar inicio quiero compartir un poco sobre mi pensar sobre las brujas a nivel de mito, leyenda o cuento que al pasar de los años va cambiando lo que conocemos sea por educarnos o simplemente como entretenimiento. De joven solía ver películas donde estos personajes demonios, duendes, fantasmas, brujas, etc., no eran parte de la trama y no por miedo sino más bien por poca fe en que existieran y la verdad me sacaba de onda tener que verlo sin que una parte de mi le diera una importancia o justificación. Sí sé que se estarán preguntado qué tipo de películas veo ya que una gran parte se sujetan de la fantasía, ficción, terror, drama, etc., pero no tienen que ser reales para ser contadas.
🎬 GOOD AND EVIL HAVE ALWAYS EXISTED AND PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN EVERY LIVING BEING ON EARTH, WHERE THE RULES HAVE BEEN WRITTEN THE PUNISHMENT IS SET AND THE REST IS LEFT TO THE IMAGINATION.
A cordial greeting to all the Cinephiles community and I am here again with a small review of a particular movie that I had the opportunity to see a few days ago and I would like to share with all of you what it is about and maybe you will be encouraged to take a look if you haven't seen it yet.
Before I start I want to share a little about my thoughts on witches at the level of myth, legend or story that over the years is changing what we know either to educate us or simply as entertainment. When I was young I used to watch movies where these characters demons, goblins, ghosts, witches, etc., were not part of the plot and not because of fear but rather because I had little faith in their existence and the truth is that it was really disturbing to have to see it without a part of me giving it any importance or justification. I know you may be wondering what kind of movies I watch since most of them are based on fantasy, fiction, horror, drama, etc., but they don't have to be real to be told.
Es muy cierto, pero en esa época de mi vida (DE NIÑO) tenía otra forma de ver las películas muy distinta a como las veo desde hace 15 años atrás y eso es importante sacarlo a la luz y es que me he topado con películas como El proyecto de la bruja de Blair donde el creer o no creer es muy importante ya que impactará en el espectador de una manera diferente según la posición que escoja al momento de ver una película. Tener un punto de vista, una creencia o simplemente la pequeña certeza de ello que nos cuentan es real o falso suma mucho y como gran consumidor de películas suelo colocarme en alguna posición cuando de verdad lo amerita y de esa forma introducirme más al momento de ir conociendo el desarrollo de la misma. Esta película no es de terror, sangre ni mitos, esto va más allá de lo que vemos en pantalla.
You Won't Be Alone o en español No estarás solo va más allá de lo que podríamos imaginar y ponernos en los zapatos del personaje principal nos hará ver las cosas muy diferente. Me gusta saber que es la primera película como director de (Goran Stolevski) y no porque lo diga, sino más bien por lo bien que lo llevó a cabo y eso hace que me interese en sus próximos proyectos.
🎬 It is very true, but at that time of my life (AS A CHILD) I had another way of watching movies very different from how I see them 15 years ago and that is important to bring it to light and I have come across films like The Blair Witch Project where believing or not believing is very important because it will impact the viewer in a different way depending on the position you choose when watching a movie. Having a point of view, a belief or simply the small certainty that what we are told is real or false adds a lot and as a great consumer of movies I usually place myself in some position when it really deserves it and in that way introduce myself more at the time of knowing the development of the same. This movie is not about horror, blood or myths, this goes beyond what we see on screen.
You Won't Be Alone goes beyond what we could imagine and putting ourselves in the shoes of the main character will make us see things very differently. I like to know that this is (Goran Stolevski's) first film as a director and not because he says so, but rather because of how well he pulled it off and that makes me interested in his next projects.

You Won't Be Alone nos cuenta la vida de una beba que fue visitada por una bruja en un pequeño pueblo Turco dónde las leyendas y mitos sobre la existencia de estos seres quiebra la fe de los habitantes del pueblo. La madre de la pequeña bebe en su desespero por evitar que se la llevaran le promete a la bruja que cuando cumpla los 16 años se la entregará como un regalo por haberle perdonado la vida a su hija. Tal trato fue aceptado al pie de la letra y con el pasar de los años la madre mantuvo escondida al bebe hasta convertirse en una adolescente muy distinta a las demás.
Alejada del pueblo sin contacto humano género en esta joven mujer (La Bebe) que viera la vida muy diferente a los demás, donde la caricia de una hoja y el aroma de la tierra bajo sus pies fueran su inicio contacto con lo que llamamos amor, vida, felicidad, tristeza, pasión, etc. Una joven que por primera vez ve el mundo real y no solo esas cuatro paredes que limitaban su mundo y experiencia de vida.
🎬 WHAT IS THE MOVIE ABOUT?
I'LL TELL YOU QUICKLY AND WITHOUT SPOILERS, IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET!
You Won't Be Alone tells the story of a baby girl who was visited by a witch in a small Turkish village where the legends and myths about the existence of these beings break the faith of the villagers. The mother of the little baby in her desperation to avoid being taken away promised the witch that when she turned 16 she would give her to her as a gift for having spared her daughter's life. Such a deal was accepted to the letter and over the years the mother kept the baby hidden until she became a teenager very different from the others.
Away from the village without human contact, this young woman (La Bebe) saw life very differently from the others, where the caress of a leaf and the scent of the earth under her feet were her first contact with what we call love, life, happiness, sadness, passion, etc. A young girl who for the first time sees the real world and not only those four walls that limited her world and life experience.
Más adelante la bruja y la joven se encuentran y la deuda es cobrada, pero no como pensamos y esto da inicio a una relación de madre e hija un poco irreal con un tono oscuro, perturbador, fugas y desalentador como si la vida le estuviera dando una nueva oportunidad de vivir lo que no pudo vivir, pero a un costo que ni la vida misma podría pagar. Es una película con ese estilo de Terror Folclórico único y lleno de poesía y esto lo digo con mucha responsabilidad, su duración es de 1h 48m tiempo suficiente para que quedes encantado con su historia.
Contarte más de la trama no tiene sentido y le quitaría el efecto sorpresa lo que te he contado es muy poco de lo que verás de inicio a fin.
🎬 Later the witch and the young girl meet and the debt is collected, but not as we think and this begins a relationship of mother and daughter a little unreal with a dark, disturbing, fugitive and discouraging tone as if life was giving her a new opportunity to live what she could not live, but at a cost that not even life itself could pay. It is a film with that unique Folkloric Horror style and full of poetry and I say this with a lot of responsibility, its duration is 1h 48m enough time for you to be enchanted with its story.
To tell you more of the plot is pointless and would take away the surprise effect, what I have told you is very little of what you will see from start to finish.
🎬 MI OPINIÓN LIBRE DE SPOILERS
Sin duda a quedado claro que la película me gusto, pero eso no quiere decir que no tenga sus detalles y que de seguro no sea del agrado de todos ya que el tono que maneja y la forma en cómo la historia se va desarrollando no conecta con todos y eso está bien ya que entre gustos y colores no han escrito los autores o algo así por el estilo. Lo que sí puede decir de la historia como tal sin soltar ningún spoilers es que nos van contando cómo se vive una etapa de nuestras vidas en el cuerpo de otra persona, pero viéndolo con nuestros ojos y eso, aunque suene confuso o poco original se manejó tan bien dentro de la trama que es difícil dejarlo pasar.
Es importante entender el contexto donde se desarrolla la historia y que no se saquen de onda aquellos que no la han visto si siente que van por el camino incorrecto o el ritmo les parece agotador ya que es algo que puede suceder. También con tan poco espacio es difícil y tocar algunos puntos es letal para quienes no la han visto. Podría decir que siguiendo una línea argumental no pierde sentido, pero si peca de inocente con el espectador cuando mete el dedo en lo que podemos vivir como individuos en diferentes facetas.
🎬 MY OPINION SPOILER-FREE
Without a doubt it is clear that I liked the movie, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have its details and that for sure it won't be liked by everyone since the tone and the way the story develops doesn't connect with everyone and that's fine since between tastes and colors the authors haven't written or something like that. What I can say about the story as such without dropping any spoilers is that we are told how we live a stage of our lives in the body of another person, but seeing it with our eyes and that, although it sounds confusing or unoriginal was handled so well within the plot that it is difficult to let it pass.
It's important to understand the context in which the story takes place and for those who haven't seen it, don't be put off if you feel you're going down the wrong path or the pace seems exhausting as it's something that can happen. Also with so little space it is difficult and touching on some points is lethal for those who haven't seen it. I could say that following a story line it doesn't lose sense, but it does err on the side of naivety with the viewer when it puts its finger on what we can experience as individuals in different facets.
El terror y suspenso es controlado y tan detallado que la voz en off que nos acompaña en la película logra que no sintamos ese recurso innecesario, ya que todo sucede dentro de la cabeza de la protagonista es decir esos diálogos o pensamientos intensos solo ella los escucha y no lo puede compartir con su entorno y en el momento que este viviendo por primera vez en esa ocasión.
ACTORES Y SUS PERSONAJES
La película cuenta con varios personajes, la mayoría son de relleno y una pequeña parte le da sentido a la historia. En otras oportunidades he compartido con los que me leen que me gusta las películas con pocos personajes ya que tienen la oportunidad de crear situaciones donde podamos ver mejor su desarrollo y que no tengamos un relleno innecesario o que le quite ritmo o importancia en la película y esto lo es bueno siempre y cuando se amerite ya que no en todas las películas desde mi opinión personal funciona.
El personaje de La Joven (Sara klimoska) es el más intenso, más comprometido y el que marca una diferencia fuera y frente a cámara la cual la hace para mi dentro de esta reseña la musa y como todo gira alrededor de lo que pasa con ella. No me había conectado con un personaje de esta forma desde hace tiempo y vaya que, si ponemos de lado lo sobrenatural o lo que se sienta místico, puedo asegurarte que el viaje es diferente y no habla un minuto donde no desees saber cuál será el siguiente movimiento.
🎬 The terror and suspense is controlled and so detailed that the voice-over that accompanies us in the film makes us not feel this unnecessary resource, since everything happens inside the head of the protagonist, that is to say, those dialogues or intense thoughts only she hears them and cannot share them with her environment and in the moment she is living for the first time on that occasion.
ACTORS AND THEIR CHARACTERS.
The film has several characters, most of them are filler and a small part gives meaning to the story. In other opportunities I have shared with those who read me that I like movies with few characters because they have the opportunity to create situations where we can better see their development and that we do not have unnecessary filler or that takes away rhythm or importance in the film and this is good as long as it is merited because not in all movies from my personal opinion it works.
The character of The Young Woman (Sara klimoska) is the most intense, most committed and the one that makes a difference off and on camera which makes her for me within this review the muse and how everything revolves around what happens with her. I haven't connected with a character in this way in a while and boy, if we put aside the supernatural or anything that feels mystical, I can assure you that the journey is different and there isn't a minute where you don't want to know what the next move will be.
Los personajes de relleno y secundarios tienen una importancia y es crear el puente para la historia, pero no generan mayor impacto en el espectador ya que es un recurso visual más no narrativo dentro del filme.
¿LA RECOMIENDO?
No es para todo el mundo, el tono al inicio puede aburrir y la división que existe dentro de la trama al momento de mostrar escenas de sangre con escenas más íntimas a nivel narrativo puede desilusionar a algunos espectadores. Teniendo esto en cuenta y sabiendo que le debes dar tiempo al desarrollo creo que la pueden ver sin mucho problema.
De lo contrario es de esas películas que debes dejar pasar ya que el tiempo que le inviertes pueda que sea mejor empleado en otra película con un ritmo más rápido y más apetecible.
🎬 The filler and secondary characters have an importance and it is to create the bridge for the story, but they do not generate greater impact on the viewer as it is a visual resource rather than narrative within the film.
DO I RECOMMEND IT?
It is not for everyone, the tone at the beginning can be boring and the division that exists within the plot at the time of showing scenes of blood with more intimate scenes at a narrative level may disappoint some viewers. Taking this into account and knowing that you must give time to the development I think you can see it without much problem.
Otherwise, it is one of those movies that you should let pass, since the time you invest in it could be better spent in another movie with a faster pace and more appetizing.
🎬 LO BUENO Y LO MALO
LO MALO
Algunas escenas no conectan con la historia y te sacan de onda en pequeñas ocasiones.
Se le pudo sacar más provecho al personaje de la Bruja ya que quedó en segundo plano y en mi opinión tenía mucho que ver con todo lo que sucede alrededor del personaje principal.
LO BUENO
Los efectos visuales, maquillaje, ambientación, son muy limpios y te transmiten lo que está sucediendo en primer plano dentro de cada escena.
Una historia interesante, nada repetitiva y muy ajustada al folklore local.
THE BAD
- Some scenes don't connect with the story and take you out of the loop on small occasions.
- The character of the Witch could have been used more to her advantage since she was in the background and in my opinion had a lot to do with everything that happens around the main character.
THE GOOD THINGS
- The visual effects, makeup, setting, are very clean and convey what is happening in the foreground of each scene.
- An interesting story, not repetitive and very close to the local folklore.
🎬 UN TRAGO DE RON Y DOS PELÍCULAS PARA VER SIN DOLOR

AKELARRE película del 2020 bajo el género Drama/Pieza de época con una duración de 1h 30m. La historia se desarrolla en tierras vascas en un pequeño pueblo donde los hombres trabajan en el mar y las mujeres se quedan en casa trabajando y cuidando, vemos un grupo de chicas que elaboran manualidades de manera normal disfrutando del momento con cantos y risas. Todo esto se desarrolla de forma natural, pero da un giro cuando vemos la llegada al pequeño pueblo unos soldados enviados por el Rey bajo las órdenes de Juez Rostegui, quien está en una cacería de brujas por todo el país.
Tomando como prisioneras a estas chicas contra su voluntad para interrogarse sobre el caso de brujería que parece estar sucediendo dentro del pueblo y de que ellas parecen formar parte, esto de inicio se torna interesante, ya que no conocemos con claridad las razones por las que se inició esta caería, pero podemos entender gracias a la época donde se desarrolla la trama la idea de las brujas y todo lo referente al tema.

AKELARRE film from 2020 under the genre Drama/Epoque piece with a duration of 1h 30m. The story takes place in Basque lands in a small village where men work at sea and women stay at home working and caring, we see a group of girls who elaborate handicrafts in a normal way enjoying the moment with singing and laughter. All of this unfolds naturally, but takes a turn when we see the arrival in the small town of soldiers sent by the King under the orders of Judge Rostegui, who is on a nationwide witch hunt.
Taking these girls as prisoners against their will to question them about the case of witchcraft that seems to be happening within the town and that they seem to be part of, this initially becomes interesting, since we do not know clearly the reasons why this fall began, but we can understand thanks to the time where the plot develops the idea of witches and everything related to the subject.
¿Por qué te la Recomiendo?
Nos sumergen en una época donde se tenía poco conocimiento sobre el tema de las Brujas y la religión y todo lo que eso representaba tenía el poder y la última palabra para condenar o perdonar quien fuera acusada de cualquier delito. Las suposiciones y ver lo que se quiere ver es vital dentro de la trama y juegan tanto con la idea de ver en la oscuridad que quedas encantado con el desarrollo no solo de la trama sino también de cada personaje y cómo intentan salir de dicha situación.
THE WITCH película del año 2015 bajo el género Terror/Drama con una duración de 1h 32m. En un pueblo de Nueva Inglaterra del año 1630 una familia se ve obligada a abandonar su hogar y entrar al bosque en busca de nuevas tierras para vivir. Los motivos por los que tuvieron que huir de casa se deben a situaciones donde se presume de brujería.
Logran construir su casa y tener un espacio para la cosecha y sus animales todo parece ser perfecto hasta que un día sucede algo desgarrador y hace que todo dentro del núcleo familiar tome un vibra pesada y oscura.
🎬 Why I recommend it to you?
We are immersed in an era where there was little knowledge on the subject of Witches and religion and all that it represented had the power and the final word to condemn or pardon whoever was accused of any crime. The assumptions and seeing what you want to see is vital within the plot and they play so much with the idea of seeing into the darkness that you are enchanted with the development not only of the plot but also of each character and how they try to get out of such a situation.
THE WITCH movie of the year 2015 under the genre Terror/Drama with a duration of 1h 32m. In a New England town in the year 1630 a family is forced to leave their home and enter the forest in search of new land to live. The reasons why they had to flee from home are due to situations where witchcraft is presumed.
They manage to build their house and have a space for the harvest and their animals everything seems to be perfect until one day something heartbreaking happens and makes everything within the family take a heavy and dark vibe.
¿Por qué te la Recomiendo?
Aquí el suponer no tiene sentido son los hechos y el folklore local lo que ponen las reglas y donde la luz no es suficiente para investigar la noche es eterna para olvidar. Todo esto hace que la trama se vuelva lenta y que no sea lo gráfico o emocional lo que tome el control sino la curiosidad por saber que puede ocurrir con los personajes y si en realidad lo que se piensa puede ocurrir o no.
Todo lo que tiene que ver con el tema de las brujas es interesante y deja mucho hilo que contar y para eso están estas películas que alimentan nuestra curiosidad y ya lo demás depende de las ganas de conocer la verdad.
🎬 Why do I recommend it?
Here the supposition does not make sense, it is the facts and the local folklore that set the rules and where the light is not enough to investigate the night is eternal to forget. All this makes the plot becomes slow and it is not the graphic or emotional that takes control but the curiosity to know what can happen to the characters and if in reality what is thought can happen or not.
Everything that has to do with the subject of the witches is interesting and leaves a lot of thread to tell and for that there are these films that feed our curiosity and the rest depends on the desire to know the truth.

Hola, mi amo Ron y cine. Recuerdo El proyecto de la bruja de Blair, la cual me sacó de onda porque en esa época como mencionas en tu aporte de la reseña, las historias contadas de otros, adultos o no hacen efectos y si la película se acopla a esa realidad logra el sacar a flote el temor. Después con el tiempo no me interesó este tipo de proyección no por miedo, sino que la madurez apuntaba hacia otros intereses, así que no creo que sea de mi interés y si le falta rapidez menos para mí, pero me dió curiosidad los efectos especiales y el maquillaje, me pregunto si me darán miedo.

Si es algo que me pasaba, pero le di la vuelta y disfruto de este tipo de películas que tienen lo suyo es cuestión de darle una oportunidad.
Como lo menciono en el post, los efectos visuales no especiales ya que esos son producidos por computadora y a los que hago mención son creados orgánicamente, con materiales, utilería, etc. Lo digo ya que es importante le da una visión diferente a lo estético.
