Attack on Titan Seasons 2 and 3
Season two begins immediately after season one with the appearance of another intelligent Titan, the Beast Titan (which has monkey-like features).
It is revealed that he and other Titans are loose inside Wall Rose. As a result, the Scout Regiment sets out to confront them and seal the wall, while other members of the training group, including Eren, are pursued by these new Titans. Another intelligent Titan appears, and everything worsens when the Colossal and Armored Titans reappear.
Eren and Mikasa have one of the best moments of the season and the series when tragedy is unfolding around them, and Eren had lost hope, but Mikasa thanks him for everything he had done for her.
Season 3 consists of two parts: In the first part, the Scout Regiment must confront the government, who intends to annihilate them. In the second part, the operation to recover Wall Maria takes place, and the regiment must face the Beast, Colossal, Armored Titans, a new Titan that walks on all fours like an iguana, and other mindless Titans commanded by the Beast Titan.
This third season is the one that unravels all the mysteries: Eren's father, Christa's complete history and her family, the origin of the Titans, the walls, and what lies beyond the walls, but the discoveries are not happy ones.
Hange: When she first appeared in the previous season, I thought she would play the role of a mad scientist, but she has been much better than that.
Erwin: The commander of the Scout Regiment, the one who devises strategies that he knows will result in many deaths, but he is not an empty or single-minded man focused solely on the fight, as he appears. He has a dream: to uncover the truth behind his father's murder.
Christa: The most interesting character development in the series and, in general, one of the best transformations from timid and extremely kind to determined and sensibly kind.

Incompatible Histories and Lovecraftian Vengeance
It is revealed that the origin of the ongoing conflicts lies in two incompatible nationalist stories: some say that one side attacked first, while the other claims that the opposite is true. One group says they were blessed by an angel or god and used that power for good, while the other group believes they made a pact with the devil to obtain the power to dominate others through violence. Time has obscured the truth, and both groups believe that the other is a conquering nation, trapped in a cycle of hatred that can only be ended by the complete extermination of one of them. (Lovecraftian vengeance refers to seeking revenge or punishment not against those who committed a crime but against their descendants.)
The State and the False Peace
It is revealed that the relative peace within the walls is even worse than anticipated: the king erased the memories of his subjects using the power of the Titans and deceived everyone about the truth of the world and why they ended up there. What's more, all previous expeditions and battles of the Scout Regiment would have been in vain: if they had succeeded in killing the Titans surrounding the walls and reaching the beach, the king would have erased their memories. He only allowed them to leave (and die) to give them hope that something could change for the population, and likely also to eliminate the most skilled individuals who could have posed a threat to the status quo. This is further demonstrated by the fact that they killed those who asked "wrong questions" about history or dared to create a hot air balloon. All because the king desired peace, and this situation of deception, lies, oppression, confinement, and killings was what he called peace, merely in contrast to what an open war would be...
Are We All Slaves to Something?
One final comment: Kenny, Levi's former tutor, equates anything that "captivates" people, that distracts their attention from the hardships of life. In other words, while some might argue that someone who drinks excessively and someone who focuses on their child are completely different, with the latter having a purpose in life while the former does not, for Kenny, they both do the same thing: they enslave themselves to something.
[s3ep10] Everyone I've ever met is the same. Alcohol, women, or a God. Family, the king, a dream. A child. Power. We all need to become intoxicated with something to keep moving forward. We were all slaves to something.
Ataque a los Titanes temporadas 2 y 3
La temporada dos inicia temporalmente pegada a la uno con la aparición de otro titán inteligente, el titán bestia (que tiene aspectos de mono),
y con la noticia de que él y otro titanes están sueltos dentro del muro Rose, por lo que la Legión de Reconocimiento sale a su encuentro y a sellar el muro, mientras otros miembros de la legión del grupo de entrenamiento de Eren se ven perseguidos por esos nuevos titanes. Otro titán inteligente más aparecerá y todo empeorará cuando reaparezcan los titanes Colosal y Acorazado.
Eren y Mikasa tienen uno de los mejores momentos de la temporada y de la serie cuando la tragedia estaba ocurriendo a su alrededor y Eren había perdido la esperanza pero Mikasa le agradece por todo lo que había hecho por ella.
La temporada 3 tiene dos partes: en la primera, la legión debe enfrentarse al gobierno, quien pretende aniquilarlos; en la segunda, se realiza la operación de recuperación del muro María, donde la legión deberá enfrentarse a los titanes Bestia, Colosal, Acorazado, a uno nuevo que va a cuatro patas como iguana, y a otros sin inteligencia comandados por el titán Bestia.
Esta tercera temporada es la de la elucidación de todos los misterios: el padre de Eren, la historia completa de Christa y su familia, el origen de los titanes, de los muros, y de qué hay más allá de las murallas, pero no serán descubrimientos felices.
Hange: cuando apareció por primera vez en la temporada pasada, creí que iba tener el rol de científico loco, pero ha sido mucho mejor que eso.
Erwin: el comandante de la legión de reconocimiento, el que hace estrategias que sabe ocasionarán muchos muertos, pero no es un hombre vacío o concentrado sólo en la lucha como aparenta, sino que tiene un sueño: descubrir la verdad por la que su padre fue asesinado.
Christa: el desarrollo de personaje más interesante de la serie y, en general, de las mejores transformaciones de tímida y extremadamente amable a decidida y sensatamente amable.

Historias incompatibles y venganzas lovecraftianas
Se revela que el origen de las luchas presentes está en dos historias nacionalistas incompatibles: unos dicen que unos atacaron primero y los otros dicen que los unos atacaron primero. Un pueblo dice que fueron agraciados por un ángel o dios y usaron ese poder para el bien, el otro que hicieron un pacto con el diablo para obtener poder de dominar a los demás con la violencia. El tiempo ya ha ocultado la verdad y ambos pueblos creen que el otro es un pueblo conquistador, estando ambos en un bucle de odio que sólo el exterminio total de uno de los dos podría terminar por completo. (Una venganza lovecraftiana es ejecutar una venganza o castigo no sobre los que cometieron un crimen sino sobre sus descendientes).
El Estado y la falsa paz
Se revela que la relativa paz de dentro de las murallas es aún peor de lo pensado: el rey borró las memorias de sus súbditos con el poder titánico y engañó a todos sobre la verdad del mundo y de por qué llegaron allí; aún peor, todas las salidas y peleas anteriores de la legión de reconocimiento habrían sido en vano: si hubieran tenido éxito en matar a los titanes rodeando las murallas y llegado a la playa, el rey les habría borrado los recuerdos, ya que sólo los dejaba salir (y morir) para darles esperanza de que algo podría cambiar a la población, y probablemente también para que mueran las personas más hábiles que podrían haber sido una amenaza al statu quo, demostrado también porque mataron a quien hiciera “preguntas incorrectas” sobre historia, a quienes se atrevieron a crear un globo aerostático. Todo porque el rey quería paz y esta situación de engaño, mentira, opresión, encierro y asesinatos era lo que él llamaba paz, sólo por contraste con lo que sería una guerra abierta...
¿Todos somos esclavos de algo?
Un último comentario: Kenny, el antiguo tutor de Levi, iguala todo aquello que “concentra” a las personas, que distrae su atención de lo malo de la vida. Es decir, mientras que algunos dirían que alguien que se alcoholiza y alguien que se concentra en su hijo son totalmente diferentes y que el segundo tiene un sentido para su vida y el primero no, para Kenny ambos hacen lo mismo: se esclavizan a algo.
[s3ep10] Toda la gente que he conocido es igual. Alcohol, mujeres o un Dios. La familia, el rey, un sueño. Un hijo. Poder. Todos necesitamos embriagarnos de algo para poder seguir adelante. Todos éramos esclavos de algo.
Admito que nunca he sido muy fan del anime, pero este en particular siempre me ha llamado la atención, tal vez sea momento de echarle un vistazo! Jejeje

Uno de mis animes favoritos, gran argumento e ilustración, me encanta; iras aprendiendo poco a poco todo al respecto de HIVE, sigue los concejos que te dan y veraz como pronto te darás a conocer; saludos!!!
Este anime me encantó, está entre mis favoritos y estoy a la espera de que salgan los últimos episodios. Todavía recuerdo el momento en el que se revela que Eren sigue vivo y que además estaba dentro de un gigante.
El mundo del anime tiene muchísimas producciones buenas, aprovecho para recomendarte algunas por si no las conoces: Serial Experiments Lain, Parasyte, Another, Shiki y un gran film llamado Your Name. Todas estos animes me parecieron increíbles y súper recomendados.
He visto unas cuantas series anime desde pequeño (la primera fue Dragon Ball); no conozco esas, excepto de nombre Another y Your Name.
Ahora estoy viendo la serie (antes de pasar a la 4 temporada de Shingeki no Kyojin) Samurai 7 y creo que pronto veré también la película Belle

El animé me había llamado la atención hace años pero no quería verlo porque sabía que le faltaba mucho para terminar, pero eso ya no es así; y felizmente, no me ha decpecionado, es muy atrapante
