Sense8 es mi serie favorita de todas las que he visto, siento que ha sido la serie que me ha dado de todo, la he disfrutado, me he emocionado, he llorado, me he estresado, incluso he amado, he sentido muchas cosas por esta serie, y de hecho, ese es el punto, la serie te pone unas situaciones y unas escenas que aunque no haya dialogo puedes sentir muchas cosas a través de la pantalla (Como la escena del parto, por ejemplo) si bien seguramente ha de tener sus cosas “malas” prefiero verle el lado positivo y todo lo bueno que he sentido viendo esta serie.

Sus personajes principales, los sensates, son la parte más importante de todo esto, la manera en la que cada uno aporta un papel importante en el grupo es hermoso, hacen un buen equilibrio, y verlos relacionarse entre si creo que es lo que más atrae de todos ellos, al menos para mí, cuando estaba comenzando a ver la serie me emocionaba por cada interacción nueva que tenían entre ellos y como iban desarrollando sus sentidos, es por eso que hoy vengo para hablarles y darles un top de mis personajes favoritos del cluster.

The main characters, the sensates, are the most important part of all this, the way in which each one brings an important role in the group is beautiful, they make a good balance, and seeing them interact with each other I think is what attracts the most of all of them, at least for me, when I was starting to watch the series I was excited for each new interaction they had between them and how they were developing their senses, that's why today I come to talk to you and give you a top of my favorite characters of the cluster.

Si bien quisiera hablar más a fondo de la serie (Sobretodo acerca de su final…) no lo haré porque la última vez que la vi fue hace bastantes meses y no recuerdo todo con tanta claridad y siento que para hablar de una serie o dar una opinión completa sobre ella debo recién verla para tener el recuerdo de los acontecimientos frescos, ya que ahí hay que tener en cuenta varias cosas, en cambio cuando es solamente acerca de los personajes creo que no hay mucho problema.

Para los que no sepan que es Sense8 o de que trata les daré un breve resumen con mis palabras, es acerca de 8 personas alrededor del mundo que gracias a alguien comienzan a experimentar cierto “poder” (No lo llamaría así exactamente) que hace que puedan sentir, oler, escuchar y ver todo lo de las otras 7 personas, vendría siendo como si los 8 fueran uno solo y todo esto mientras hay alguien que básicamente los busca para matarlos, creo que eso es lo mejor que puedo decir sin dar tanto spoiler, aunque ya de por si toda esta publicación es un spoiler jsjsj, en fin, yendo al top.

Aaaaahhhh Lito… Justamente del que me quería quejar jakdhsakj por dónde empezar, creo que mi mayor problema con él es que cuando ya había salido del closet aun sabiendo y aceptando los riesgos que vendrían sin importar que, con tal de ser feliz con Hernando, cuando pasaba una mínima cosa contra él que tenía que ver con su orientación parecía que se retractaba de lo que había hecho o que de cierta forma se avergonzaba de ser gay, ok, si bien está la escena de “Who am I?” y está bien que este tipo de cosas afecten a uno, sobre todo si por lo que has trabajado por toda tu vida se viera afectada por algo tan trivial, no lo sé, siento que este personaje lo llevaba de una manera en la que me decía que el sentía que todo estuviera bien si no fuera gay, lo sentía muy drama queen, que incluso los mismos sensates no lo soportaban a veces y tuvo que ser Daniela (AMO a Daniela) la que tuvo que mover algo para que su carrera siguiera en pie porque el no se atrevía a hacer nada, aunque esto lo puedo entender mucho más, creo que el ya estaba cayendo en un hueco depresivo. Salir del closet y cargar con las cosas que vienen después de eso no es para nada fácil, pero con este personaje hay algo que no sé, no me cuadra del todo ajdsajd. Algo que me di cuenta de este personaje, o al menos cuando está actuando o usando su “talento” para ayudar a los demás sensates es una especie de parodia a las novelas mexicanas, lo cual me da un poco de risa.

One thing I noticed about this character, or at least when he's acting or using his "talent" to help the other sensates is a sort of parody of Mexican soap operas, which gives me a bit of a chuckle.

Riley me cae bien, y el final de la primera temporada se centró en ella y fue algo cool, su historia me gusta y me parece interesante con esos traumas que tiene del pasado, jamás hubiera pensado que estuvo casada e incluso tuvo una hija, es un personaje con muchos demonios dentro de ella y se le ve desarrollando eso en la primera temporada, aunque quisiera que se hubiera adentrado un poco más en ello me conformo con lo que dieron porque capaz se hubiera desviado demasiado de la trama principal. Mis dos “inconformidades” con este personaje es que primero, como dije antes con Lito, el tenía un “talento” que ayudaba al resto del cluster cuando estaban en peligro, y esto es algo que cada uno de los sensates tiene, Nomi hackea, Kala tiene conocimiento con los químicos, Will, Wolfgang y sun pelean, Lito actúa y miente, capheus maneja, pero ¿Y Riley? Es la única que no tiene nada que “aportar” en el grupo, no digo que esto la desvalorice como personaje, igual sigue siendo excelente, pero con esto creo que viene mi otro punto que es que en la segunda temporada siento que ya no le tomaron tanta relevancia como en la primera, estaba ahí para cuidar a Will y ser su interés romántico, no profundizaron más su personaje y siento que lo dejaron botado, eso ya es falla de la serie pero ajá, lo bueno es que gracias a ella se supo de la existencia de Mr. Hoy.
I like Riley, and the end of the first season focused on her and it was kind of cool, I like her story and I find it interesting with those traumas she has from the past, I would have never thought she was married and even had a daughter, she is a character with many demons inside her and you see her developing that in the first season, although I wish they would have gone a little deeper into it I am content with what they gave because it might have deviated too much from the main plot. My two "unconformities" with this character is that first, as I said before with Lito, he had a "talent" that helped the rest of the cluster when they were in danger, and this is something that each of the sensates has, Nomi hacks, Kala has knowledge with chemicals, Will, Wolfgang and sun fight, Lito acts and lies, capheus drives, but what about Riley? She is the only one who has nothing to "contribute" to the group, I am not saying that this devalues her as a character, she is still excellent, but with this I think my other point is that in the second season I feel that she was not as relevant as in the first season, she was there to take care of Will and be his romantic interest, they did not deepen her character and I feel that they left it thrown away, that is a failure of the series but well, the good thing is that thanks to her we knew about the existence of Mr. Hoy.

Admito que Will es muy buen personaje, o sea, quedar en un estado en donde básicamente tendrás que estar sedado por quien sabe cuanto tiempo para proteger a los demás del cluster, salvarles la vida en varias ocasiones, literalmente renunciar a toda la vida que tenías de una manera terrible por esas personas es algo que yo digo wow, además de que tiene un buen ingenio que me encanta, las maneras que evitaba que Whispers descubriera en donde se encontraba. Su romance con Riley lo vi un poco random en la primera temporada, pero aprendí a digerirlo y viendo la serie pude entender los enamoramientos entre los cluster sin haber tenido tanta interacción, lo que me pasa con este personaje y hace que esté tan abajo es un cierto fenómeno que me suele pasar con los protagonistas principales de las series que veo, es algo que terminas agarrándole más cariño o aprecio a personajes más “secundarios” que al principal por alguna razón, por muy bueno que sea me suele pasar, es por eso que está en este puesto.

Siento que Capheus debe ser una buena persona con quien pasar el tiempo y reírte un buen rato, es alguien muy carismático y siento yo que es un muy buen amigo, lo que quiero decir es que si este personaje existiera en la vida real sin duda alguna quisiera conocerlo y ser su amigo. No quiero nombrar su cambio en el actor que lo interpretaba porque realmente no creo que interfiera en si el personaje siga siendo mejor o peor, eso me dio un tanto igual, lo que si tengo que nombrar son las situaciones tan peligrosas en las que se tuvo que enfrentar para mantener saludable a su madre, si, sobrevivió todo esto gracias a la ayuda de los otros sensates ya que creo que haciendolo solo hubiera muerto apenas en un principio, pero no le quita lo valiente y leal que es, demasiado leal, es un personaje que se gana tu cariño con su carisma. Por cierto, su entrada a las cosas políticas si fue un poco inesperado para mí, pero no lo veo mal jsjsjs.
I feel that Capheus must be a good person to spend time with and have a good laugh, he is someone very charismatic and I feel he is a very good friend, what I mean is that if this character existed in real life I would definitely want to meet him and be his friend. I don't want to name the change in the actor who played him because I really don't think it interferes if the character is still better or worse, I didn't care about that, what I do have to name are the dangerous situations he had to face to keep his mother healthy, yes, he survived all this thanks to the help of the other sensates, I think if he had done it all he would already be dead, but it doesn't take away how brave and loyal he is, too loyal, he is a character that wins your affection with his charisma. By the way, his entrance to the political stuff if a bit unexpected for me, but I don't see it wrong jsjsjs.

Jsjsjsjsjs, nah mentira no lo fue, de verdad no podía decidir a cuál de los dos colocar arriba y cual abajo así que los puse juntos, además, queda con la historia de la serie jsjsjs, igualmente hablaré sobre ambos de manera separadas obviando un poco su relación.

Wolfgang era un personaje que desde un principio me interesaba y me resultaba curioso, y no estaba equivocado, tenía un pasado demasiado pero demasiado trágico, y esa era una de las cosas que más quería saber, su pasado, él porque de muchas cosas, y lo que debo decir es que su familia es una total mierda, me dan ganas de cuidarlo y guardarlo en una cajita por todo lo que ha pasado, aunque a veces (Casi siempre) da miedo asdksajd, les juro que en el capítulo final ver lo de la mamá y eso me dejó en shock total. Gracias a él comenzó una de las mejores escenas de toda la serie, en donde todos cantan la canción What’s Up, ese fue el momento en el que dije esta serie es para mí, ese capitulo (Y el 3) lo fueron todo, hablando un poquito nada más sobre su relación con Kala, admito que la primera vez que vi la primera temporada decía que ese era el inicio del fin asjdhasjd lo encontraba raro, pero cuando vi el resto comencé a quererlos como pareja cada vez más, además de que era un poco intrigante saber que iba a pasar con esos dos, si iban a terminar juntos o Kala se quedaría definitivamente con su esposo. Últimas dos cosas que agregar sobre este personaje y su entorno, primero, pensé que él y Felix eran novios o algo así, y segundo, fuck you Lila.

Kala fue un personaje que me daba mucha ternura, sentía que era mucho para este mundo, de alguna manera siento que su trama era un poco… ¿Fuera de lugar? Comparándolo con lo que estaban pasando los demás o la historia en general, lo que más sazón tenía era su amorío con Wolfgang y en la primera temporada cuando estaba con los temas religiosos y eso, del resto no lo sé, era algo que fácilmente puedo obvia o incluso olvidar, su cosa de me caso o no me caso, aunque de verdad quería saber más de lo que estaba pasando con el esposo y la otra persona en la segunda temporada, esa es una de las cosas que creo dejaron inconclusas o le buscaron una salida vacía en el final debido a la cancelación (Jamás superaré eso). Como dije al principio, ella es un personaje muy carismático y cute, pareciera que no rompe un plato, y eso es algo que me encanta porque cuando la situación lo necesitaba se armaba unas cosas para salvar a los otros, como las bombas raras que hacía con reacciones química o que ella era la que llevaba el control de las dosis de Will en la segunda temporada, juro que cuando la vi por primera vez con un arma quedé en shock porque no creí verla así, en la segunda temporada se desató más y me encantó asjkhdsajd.
Kala was a character that gave me a lot of tenderness, I felt that she was too much for this world, somehow I feel that her plot was a little... Out of place? As I said at the beginning, she is a very charismatic and cute character, it seems that she doesn't break a plate, and that's something I love because when the situation needed it she put together some things to save the others, like the weird bombs she made with chemical reactions or that she was the one who was in control of Will's doses in the second season, I swear when I saw her for the first time with a gun I was in shock because I didn't think I saw her like that, in the second season she was more unleashed and I loved it askdhjasd.
2- Nomi.

Que les puedo decir, simplemente icónica. Este personaje ha sido uno de los más importantes de toda la serie y a la que más le he agarrado cariño, no solo por el hecho de pertenecer a la comunidad LGBTQ+ si no por todas las escenas icónicas y hermosas que protagonizaron ella y Amanita (Su novia, LA MEJOR) como cuando rescataron a Nomi del hospital, el momento del escape de la casa de la madre de Amanita o cuando se infiltraron en la casa del supuesto doctor, Nomi es un personaje del cual hubiera querido ver más de su pasado, si de por si te muestran un poco de el (Fue fuerte) hubiera querido ver un poco más, ella es alguien fuerte, o sea, pasar tanto pero tanto tiempo escapando y escondiéndose de la policía y whispers, todos lo hacían a su manera, combatir a whispers y esconderse de él, pero ella fue la primera en sufrir esto y creo que la que más lo sufrió (Sin contar a Will, obviamente), amo que tenía a alguien tan fuerte y que la quería tanto como Amanita que siempre estuvo a su lado, la pareja del año. No solo su persona y su historia me atrapaban, si no también la manera en la que podía sacar de un apuro a algunos de los del cluster con sus habilidades de hacker, amo su habilidad.

This character has been one of the most important of the whole series and the one I've liked the most, not only for the fact that she belongs to the LGBTQ+ community but for all the iconic and beautiful scenes that she and Amanita (his girlfriend, THE BEST) starred in, like when they rescued Nomi from the hospital, the moment of the escape from Amanita's mother's house or when they infiltrated the house of the supposed doctor, Nomi is a character I would have liked to see more of her past, they show you a little of it (It was hard) I would have wanted to see a little more, she is someone strong, I mean, spend so much but so much time escaping and hiding from the police and whispers, everyone did it in their own way, fight whispers and hide from him, but she was the first to suffer this and I think the one who suffered it the most (Not counting Will, obviously), I love that she had someone so strong and who loved her as much as Amanita who was always by her side, the couple of the year. Ahora es momento de hablar del personaje que se robó la serie, mi bella y querida Sun. Ok, comenzaré por el hecho de que su trama individual es la mejor de todos, y pareciera que es algo que todo el mundo que ha visto la serie piensa porque en internet he visto que muchos piensan lo mismo y amigos que han visto la serie también lo piensan, el suspenso que da esperar toda una temporada para que el hermano de Sun tenga su merecido, este es un personaje que ha sufrido mucho y al no saber cómo controlar o expresar sus emociones a menos que sea por medio de las artes marciales creo que lo hace un poco peor, perder a su mamá de pequeña, vivir sintiendo que tu padre te odia y te hace menos solamente por ser mujer, luego sacrificarte por tu hermano para que termine traicionándote a ti de una manera cínica y que además mate a tu padre cuando ya se habían reconciliado, solo tengo que decir wow, solamente en la primera temporada pasó por demasiado, siento que el acompañamiento de los demás sensates la ayudó mucho a crecer, Sun merece el mundo entero. Veía futuro con su relación con el detective para ser honestos, pero lastimosamente debido a la cancelación de la serie no tuvo su desarrollo respectivo:( hubiera querido que se hubiera llevado de otra manera, ahora hablando de sus habilidades, solamente wow, solo para recalcar que ella sola pudo contra una banda completa teniendo solo un machete, no hubo pero NADA que la detuvo y contra todos los enemigos que se enfrentaban todos ella los ayudo y pudo con todos, una reina si me lo preguntan.
