De lo que fue una primera temporada algo lenta, pasé a ver una segunda temporada bastante espantosa, ¡y con tan solo ver los tres primeros episodios! Me sentí como un bobo mientras, personajes que se nos venden como legendarios, andan por allí gritándonos al oído lo superfuertes que son, empleando recursos baratos y mediocres. En lugar de fantasía épica, pensé que estaba viendo alguna comedia de Adam Sandler. ¿De verdad los creadores de esta locura piensan que somos tan ingenuos? La manera en la que desarrollaron la humanización de los personajes fue, sin duda alguna, un golpe a mis intestinos.
Reí, varias veces, mientras veía como se trataba de entorpecer el legado de Tolkien... espera, ¿dije: "veía como trataban"? Mejor dicho, fui testigo de como si se atrevieron a hacerlo. Y no toleraré la excusa de los planos y las escenas bonitas: yo no vi nada bonito. Cuando una serie es mala, no se puede disfrutar ni con los mejores adornos.

From what was a somewhat slow first season, I went on to watch a rather dreadful second season, and with only watching the first three episodes! I felt like a sucker as, characters sold to us as legendary, run around screaming in our ears how super-strong they are, employing cheap and mediocre resources. Instead of epic fantasy, I thought I was watching some Adam Sandler comedy. Do the creators of this madness really think we're that naive? The way they developed the humanization of the characters was definitely a punch to my gut.
I laughed, several times, as I watched as they tried to hinder Tolkien's legacy...wait, did I say, “watched as they tried”? Rather, I witnessed how if they dared to do so. And I won't tolerate the excuse of pretty shots and pretty scenes: I didn't see anything pretty. When a series is bad, you can't enjoy it even with the best embellishments.

Cuando se estrenó por primera vez Los Anillos de Poder, hice una reseña con impresiones que habían sido más o menos buenas. También dije, que el éxito de esta serie dependería de su desarrollo, y la verdad, ahora digo con propiedad que no se puede considerar como una parte del canon original de Tolkien. Es todo menos eso. Y luego esos diálogos MALÍSÍMOS, elaborados para que nos enteremos de la acción por boca de los personajes... ¿Ya dije que Payne y Mckay piensan que somos estúpidos?

With just a glance at the first episode of the second season, I didn't feel like watching anything else. But there I was, watching a certain character who should have been awesome, succumb to human feelings he shouldn't have. And then those EVIL dialogues, elaborated so that we learn about the action from the characters' mouths.... Did I already said that Payne and Mckay think we're stupid?

The Rings of Power has nothing redeemable; watching this series is like pouring lemon in your eyes. After seeing that bad beginning and the rest of the episodes even worse, I have decided to give up watching this middle earth monstrosity that should never have existed. If you are a fan of Tolkien's works, don't watch it, because instead of enjoying it you will end up cursing it. Don't try to count the African-American elves, or the orcs who are suddenly the beleaguered ones in the story. Oops, and don't go crying with a scene where the poor orcs are shown as they are: “victims” 🤐.
