Well, it's about time to give a chance to this anime in question, of which I didn't have the opportunity some time ago, to give its pertinent review but I feel that it's about time both to this one and to another from the same author, who created the work of which I will review below. Curiously the mangaca who created both this manga and then its respective series, has this bad habit of remaining in a great hiatus or pause with his works, and this is no exception although it has been seen previously in his old works, even having unfinished works despite already having their respective animations but I will talk about this in more detail in due course, Returning to this anime I can say that it has many elements that make it attractive in itself, although they come being overshadowed by its level of comedy somewhat absurd and strange at times, being reflected in the changes of animation and a somewhat slow plot at the beginning.
The series allows the viewer to be transported to a world in which various historical figures of times past, which had a great impact and were in turn very recognizable to us some more than others, are in a completely different world in which they will have to use the capabilities that characterized them in our reality to face the terrible problems in this new alternative world in which they are. At first instance and under this striking premise certainly makes you curious enough to see the performance of these figures, and see the forces with which they have to face, as well as why they are there, and what drives all this, plus it along with a good animation, very interesting fights and varied interactions, so this time I bring you ladies and gentlemen the anime Drifters.
Bueno, viene siendo hora de darle la oportunidad a este anime en cuestión, del cual tampoco tuve la oportunidad hace un tiempo atrás, de darle su pertinente reseña pero siento que ya viene siendo hora tanto a este como a otro proveniente del mismo autor, que elaboro la obra de la cual les reseñare a continuación. Curiosamente el mangaca que creo tanto este manga y luego su respectiva serie, tiene este mal habitó de permanecer en un gran hiatus o pausa con sus obras, y esta no es una excepción aunque ya se ha visto anteriormente en sus antiguos trabajos, llegando incluso a tener trabajos inconclusos a pesar de tener ya sus respetivas animaciones pero ya hablare sobre esto con mas detalle en su momento, volviendo con este anime puedo llegar a decir que tiene muchos elementos que lo hacen atractivos de por sí, aunque vengan estando opacados por su nivel de comedia un tanto absurda como extraña en ocasiones, viéndose reflejado en los cambios de animación y una trama al comienzo algo lenta.
La serie permite transportar al espectador a un mundo en el cual diversas figuras históricas de tiempos de antaño, las cuales tuvieron un gran impacto y fueron a su vez muy reconocidas para nosotros unas más que otras, se encuentran en un mundo completamente, diferente en el cual tendrán que usar las capacidades que les caracterizaron en nuestra realidad para enfrentar la terrible problemática en este nuevo mundo alternativo en el que están. A primera instancia y bajo esta premisa llamativa ciertamente hace, que te de la suficiente curiosidad para ver el desempeño de estas figuras, y ver las fuerzas con las cuales hay que enfrentarse, así como ¿El porqué están ahí? y ¿Que impulsa todo esto?, además de ello junto a una buena animación, peleas muy interesantes eh interacciones variadas, así que esta vez les traigo damas y caballeros el anime de Drifters.

Drifters, is considered a manga which was written and illustrated by Kota Hirano (the creator of the manga Hellsing) this is considered his most current work, beginning to publish it for the magazine Young King Ours of the Japanese publisher Shonen Gaosha, and counting with 6 volumes so far.
It was not until 2015 that the publisher in May, announced that the manga would receive an animated adaptation for October 7, 2016, with a total of 12 chapters plus 3 ovas, and the animation studio in charge of this work at the time was the studio Hoods Drifters Studio.
Drifters, viene siendo considerado un manga el cual fue escrito e ilustrado por Kota Hirano (el creador del manga de Hellsing) este viene siendo considerado su trabajo más actual, empezándolo a publicar para la revista Young King Ours de la editorial japonesa Shonen Gaosha, y contando con 6 volúmenes hasta ahora.
No fue sino hasta para el 2015 que la editorial en mayo, anuncio que dicho manga recibiría una adaptación animada para el 7 octubre del 2016, contando con un total de 12 capítulos mas 3 ovas, y el estudio de animación encargado para este trabajo en su momento fue el estudio Hoods Drifters Studio.
Synopsis / Sinopsis
The plot goes into Shimazu Toyohisa, a samurai who was fighting in the battle of Sekigahara, after being seriously wounded and wandering through the forest, this is suddenly transported to a long corridor with several doors on the sides, and in front of a man sitting at a desk, This after a crossing of glances is finally sent to an alternative world in which are present other beings like him called "Drifters", it is worth mentioning that in this world there are a variety of unknown races, and other humans besides the drifters, Toyohisa's story changes drastically when he arrives to this new world.
La trama se entra en Shimazu Toyohisa, un samurái que se encontraba luchando en la batalla de Sekigahara, después de ser gravemente herido y deambular por el bosque, este es transportado repentinamente a una corredor largo con varias puertas a los lados, y al frente un hombre sentado en un escritorio, este luego de un cruce de miradas es enviado finalmente a un mundo alternativo en el cual están presente otros seres como el llamados “Drifters”, cabe mencionar que en este mundo hay una variedad de razas desconocidas, y otros humanos además de los drifters, la historia de Toyohisa cambia drásticamente al llegar a este nuevo mundo.

I applied the same principle that I had implemented in the last recent series that I have reviewed currently, in which I rewatch the series in question to have a better structure when reviewing in its entirety the series itself, and as I now have free time since the new semester has not yet begun at my university, you could say that I am diversifying my time for several things and this is one of them. Returning to the main point I remember that when I saw this series some time ago, I was very interested in how these historical figures or characters would adapt or what they will have to do to counteract and confront the drastic situation in which they find themselves because all this revolves around a war at various points, both of the heroic humans transported to this world against other humans of our world curiously that have despot and cruel intentions, and the native inhabitants of this alternate world, which vary in races such as elves, hobbits and dwarves.
This was one of the aspects that most caught my attention at the time, and to this day still is, in terms of narrative and premise under the construction of the story that is intended to recreate along with these designs, it certainly is interesting. One of the elements that I liked a lot was the interactions that some characters had with others, in addition to showing the wide range of time in which they were since there were some humans (Drifters) who came from different times, which showed the progress both mentally and technologically they had, reflected in weapons and knowledge or clothing, the interaction that is present between these points personally I liked a lot, but I admit that even if I liked one of the things that I can't stand is the abrupt change of humor and "comedy" that is sometimes between them accompanied with a big change of animation, I understand that it is done so that the atmosphere changes slightly, and does not feel heavy since they are in a war but I don't like this point so much.
Fortunately this is countered with a good choreography when fighting with the enemies, at this point the combat ability of the drifters is very outstanding compared to the native races of the world they are trying to defend from which, one of those races the elves will adapt to them standing out in order to retake their world which is being controlled in a despot and cruel way by the other humans, which curiously have interesting elemental or mystical abilities compared to the drifters, who have no more than their martial or strategic ability and will to these other humans called "Offskouring" or "Ends" also have an interesting background, I feel that some were wasted, but although several characteristics of them have been shown even superficially, they really had their impact, it is interesting more than anything out of curiosity the background of each of them and curiously how each of their skills is linked to an aspect or means they had in life, when they were alive or in their death for our world.
I give points to Kota Hirano the mangaca and creator of this series, for at least having enough creative capacity to elaborate a different language, different social structures, as well as customs in an alternative world inhabited by elves and other races. The truth I feel that if he had gone deeper in a better way to structure all these concepts linked to these races I feel that it would have come out a little better, but for what was shown for me is more than fine, maybe I sound a little capricious with this, and maybe it's because I like mythological stories in which characters are represented like this and go deeper, I know this is not the lord of the rings or any other work of Tolkien's reading, it's just a perspective of mine, out of all this the series was certainly entertaining and I learned as in its time when I saw this series about the history of some characters, because I did research them and it was interesting, what I did not like or barely tolerate and as I said a moment ago, is the weird humor that Kota Hirano has sometimes with his works and his abrupt changes of the animation to give substance to this.
With the animation section, it is not bad at all, it shows a good fluidity and also a good coloring in every sense both with the characters and the environment that consolidates that world, but if we talk about color and animation, the point which looks much better here is the aspect of war, combat and blood since this manga has a kind of particularity and taste for giving a more focused approach to these elements, and personally it does not bother me considering that it is a scenario of war and death as well as survival. This makes a significant weight which is not complicated to understand for the most part, since its main attraction for me is the interaction, participation and impact that the historical figures have in this world in general, as well as the development of the beings or natives of such parallel world.
And with this I end today's review, it is certainly an interesting series, but I admit that it is somewhat slow, the humor in certain parts is good but it is abused a little modified to the weird vision of its mangaka, so be patient if you will give it a chance. I like the works of Kota Hirano although he has this habit of pausing most of his works both in manga and anime and even leave them unfinished with the exception of Hellsing and Hellsing Ultimate, anime which I will talk about soon because I want to complement it with this review, so as always thanks for coming here, I hope the reading has been to your liking and without more to say until next time.
Aplique el mismo principio que había implementado en las últimas series recientes que he reseñado actualmente, en el cual vuelvo a ver la serie en cuestión para tener una mejor estructuración a la hora de reseñar en su totalidad dicha serie en sí, y como ahora tengo tiempo libre ya que aun no ha empezado el nuevo semestre en mi universidad, se podría decir que ando diversificando mi tiempo para varias cosas y esta es una de ellas. Volviendo al punto principal recuero que cuando vi esta serie hace ya algún tiempo, me causo un gran interés el como estas figuras o personajes históricos se adaptarían o que tendrán que hacer para contrarrestar y enfrentar, la situación tan drástica en la cual se encuentran debido a que todo esto gira en torno a una guerra en diversos puntos, tanto de los humanos heroicos transportados a este mundo contra otros humanos de nuestro mundo curiosamente que tienen intensiones déspotas y crueles, y los habitantes nativos de dicho mundo alterno, los cuales varían en razas como elfos, hobbits y enanos.
Esto fue uno de los aspectos que mas llamo mi atención en su momento, y hasta la actualidad aun lo sigue siendo, en términos de narración y premisa bajo la construcción de la historia que se intenta recrear junto a estos designios, ciertamente es interesante. Uno de los elementos que me gusto mucho fue las interacciones que tenían algunos personajes con otros, además de mostrar a su vez el amplio margen de tiempo en el cual se encontraban ya que habían algunos humanos (Drifters) que venían de épocas diferentes, con lo cual mostraban el avance tanto mental así como en tecnológico que tenían, reflejado en armas y conocimiento o vestimenta, la interacción que se tiene presente entre estos puntos en lo personal a mi me gusto mucho, pero admito que aunque me gustara una de las cosas que ligeramente soporto es el cambio brusco de humor y "comedia" que se tiene en ocasiones entre ellos acompañado con un gran cambio de animación, entiendo que se hace para que el ambiente cambie ligeramente, y no se sienta pesado ya que están en una guerra pero no me gusta tanto este punto.
Afortunadamente esto se ve contrarrestado con una buena coreografía a la hora de combatir con los enemigos, en este punto la capacidad del combate de de los drifters es muy sobresaliente en comparación a las razas nativas del mundo que intentan defender de la cual, una de esas razas los elfos se adaptaran a ellos destacando en pro de retomar su mundo el cual está siendo controlado de forma déspota y cruel por los otros humanos, los cuales curiosamente tienen habilidades elementales interesantes o místicas en comparación a los drifters, que no poseen más que su habilidad marcial o estratégica y voluntad a estos otros humanos llamados “Offskouring” o “Ends” también poseen un trasfondo interesante, siento que se desperdiciaron algunos, pero aunque se hayan mostrado varias características de ellos así sea de forma superficial, realmente tuvieron su impacto, es interesante más que nada por curiosidad el trasfondo de cada uno de ellos y curiosamente como cada una de sus habilidades está ligado con un aspecto o medio que tuvieron en vida, cuando estaban vivos o en su muerte para nuestro mundo.
Le doy puntos a Kota Hirano el mangaca y creador de esta serie, por al menos tener la suficiente capacidad creativa para elaborar un idioma diferente, estructuras sociales diferentes, así como costumbres en un mundo alternativo habitado por elfos y otras razas. La verdad siento que si se hubiera adentrado más de una mejor manera al estructurar todos estos conceptos ligados a estas razas siento que hubiera salido un poquito mejor, pero para lo que se mostro para mi esta mas que bien, quizás sueno un poco caprichoso con esto, y quizás es porque me gusta las historias mitológicas en las cuales se representan personajes así y se profundizan de mas, yo sé que esto no es el señor de los anillos o cualquier otro trabajo de lectura de Tolkien, es solo una perspectiva mía, fuera de todo esto la serie me resulto ciertamente entretenida y aprendí como en su tiempo cuando vi esta serie sobre la historia de algunos personajes, porque si los investigue y fue interesante, lo que si no me gusto o apenas tolero y como dije hace un momento, es el humor raro que tiene Kota Hirano a veces con sus trabajos y sus cambios abruptos de la animación para darle sustancia a esto.
Con el apartado de la animación, no está nada mal se muestra una buena fluidez y también un buen coloreado en todo sentido tanto con los personajes como el ambiente que consolida ese mundo, pero sí de color y animación hablamos en el punto el cual esto se ve mucho mejor aquí es el aspecto de la guerra, el combate y la sangre ya que este manga tiene una especie particularidad y gusto por darle un enfoque más centrado a estos elementos, y en lo personal no me molesta considerando que es un escenario de guerra y muerte así como de supervivencia. Esto hace un peso significativo la cual no viene siendo complicado de entender en su gran mayoría, ya que su mayor atractivo para mi es la interacción, participación eh impacto que tengan las figuras históricas en este mundo en general, así como el desenvolvimiento de los seres o nativos de tal mundo paralelo.
Y con esto termino la reseña del día de hoy, ciertamente es una serie interesante, pero admito que es algo lenta, el humor en ciertas partes es bueno pero se abusa un poco de ello modificado a la visión rara de su mangaka, así que tengan paciencia si le darán una oportunidad. Me gustan los trabajos de Kota Hirano aunque tenga esta costumbre de poner pausa la mayoría de sus obras tanto en manga como en anime y hasta dejarlos inconclusos con la excepción de Hellsing y Hellsing Ultimate, anime del cual hablare próximamente ya que quiero complementarlo con el de esta reseña, así que como siempre gracias por llegar hasta aquí, espero la lectura haya sido de su agrado y sin más que decir hasta la próxima.

Entré porque justamente la imagen que colocaste de portada me recordó a Hellsing y qué sorpresa me llevo al saber que es un trabajo del mismo mangaka, qué genial. Aunque si te soy sincera, no creo que vaya a verlo, por más que me llame la atención, por lo menos por ahora no por la cuestión del hiatus, ya me pasó con HxH, Bersek y el mismo Hellsing, es decepcionante comenzar a ver algo y que no tenga final ni siquiera previsto, aunque bueno, Hellsing tuvo su versión Ultimate que nos dio el final que necesitábamos, pero aun así es mucho riesgo, qué tal que pasa lo mismo de Miura y fallece antes de culminar su obra, no podría con otra decepción así, jajajajaja.
Igual la voy a anotar en caso de que veo que el manga finalizó y que le dieron la continuidad merecida al anime.

Pues si, la verdad es que, ya es algo que se escapa del control de cualquier individuo pues, inclusive de ellos me refiero a los autores de manga por ejemplo con hxh, su autor esta muy delicado de salud, lo de miura bueno es el resultado de una vida muy drastica con su trabajo ademas de que tristemente en este ambito laoral es muy comun. Comparto tu pensamiento con los hiatus tambien me molestan pero supongo que ya me acostumbre y hablando de hellsing ultimate voy para esa, saludos.
Yo los entiendo, Togashi si mal no recuerdo tiene un problema serio en la espalda y por eso no lo ha continuado. Miura fue víctima del estrés y dicen que eso fue lo que lo llevó a la enfermedad que le ocasionó de su muerte. Entiendo que se tomen su tiempo, pero para eso también podrían contratar los asistentes necesarios para poder cumplir con sus historias. No sé, para mí como lectora y espectadora es difícil consumir sus obras sabiendo que puede ser otra que quede a la mitad.
