Van helsing For a vampire movie that actually look like zombie apocalypse actually took a turn in change of scenery. However, with that being said, the series"Van Helsing" is competing with TV series such as fear of the walking dead, black summer.,Z nation and The Walking Dead. As a vampire-based series, Van Helsing

just didn't leave a lot of speculations, no, it just failed to portray the basis of a memorable comparison to the vampire series. Sure, most people might disagree if you are more of a vampire fan, would notice the difference. I however, am a vampire aficionado and found "Van Helsing" to be nothing more than mediocre and an insult to the vampire world.

Sure, it was quite entertaining, but the series just never sunk beneath the skin and I asked myself is this a vampire movie or a zombie series. The title Van Helsing is an ancient vampire hunter who cast off vampire using holy water, cruxifix and cross bow. The characters in "Van Helsing" were ok, although there is nothing really special in the movie aside the fact the the van helsing's have a unique ability to take away ur vampirism. This hasn't been seen or done in the above mentioned series.

As for the acting, well I will say that they had a good enough ensemble of cast to fill out the various roles. And personally, then I was most impressed with Christopher Heyerdahl in the role of Sam; he was just outstanding. A deaf man who was a psyco and love killing because he sees it as fun now elevated to the status of elder was really fun. "Van Helsing" have good effects, which actually stood out from the many mediocre Sci-fi movies that are available for viewing.

Some time ago saw the movie preview on netnaija and since then I had been curious about it, I must admit that the first episode didn't have that catchy plot, I was like is this a vampire movie or zombie apocalypse, I hated the general presentation of what seemed to be the story, and abandoned any thoughts of staying awake to see the movie, but after five episodes they were changes that drew my attention to it. It made me stay hooked appreciating the way the characters were taking the suspense in the hospital and how they managed to harmonize a general plot.
