A beautiful day to all the beautiful souls in Hive! Guess what? I'm back again with another blog and life lessons to share. I hope that you all are doing great in life. Stay hydrated, healthy, and always keep your smile. Enjoy! ❤️

Do you ever find yourself being drawn into a certain movie you just watched? Like you are being pulled into a world that is unfamiliar to you, that keeps you thinking all throughout the day, and sometimes makes you feel more devastated than those characters in the movie? If your answer is yes, I am certain that you are built and molded as one of a kind.

Today, I will be sharing with you my top 5 favorite heart-swooning movies I had watched, and along with these movies are the life lessons I learned and realizations as well. These are all just my points of view, and I would deeply respect yours. I hope that you will have a great time reading this blog.

#1 YOUR EYES TELL

First on the list is the movie named "Your Eyes Tell." It is a Japanese movie that talks about a woman who is visually impaired and a man who is a past kickboxer. The themes of this movie revolve around love, sacrifice, disability, and hope. What I love in this movie is the character development, the plots, the twists and turns, and the emotional depth it conveys until the very end. In this movie, I learned that love really outweighs what we can't see with our naked eye. Even if the woman is visually impaired, it did not stop her from loving the man who brings colors to her life. This also made me reflect that despite all the past circumstances one had to suffer, if there is someone who is brave enough to embrace the storms we encountered, that is where love blooms best.

#2 DRAWING CLOSER

If you want to have a good cry, I bet you will love this movie. Next on the list is the movie named "Drawing Closer." It is another Japanese movie that made me bawl my eyes out for hours. Due to the reason that the movie will somehow hook your attention at the very first part and will leave you devastatingly hanging at the end. Moreover, the themes of this movie explore around love, loss, and the courage of the human spirit. The movie started with these two young and talented characters that both have a short time to live. However, amidst this unfortunate fate they had, they still found each other and made memories they will treasure till their last breath. What I learned in this movie is how love and loss feel beautiful and painful at the same time. Can you imagine someone you love will eventually die, but at the same time, you realize that you're dying as well? Isn't it heartbreaking? Yet, I admire the way both of the characters bravely ventured beyond their limits, which made me realize how powerful love is in every person's life. Aside from that, I also learned the great value of reconnection that can bring back the strings that have been ripped apart. All in all, the most memorable thing that stayed with me from the movie is the 3 gerbera daisies that symbolized a blossoming love, which simply means that love exists in various forms.

#3 HOPE

Third on the list is the movie/film named "Hope." It is a Korean film/movie that talks about a girl named Hope who, unfortunately, got sexually molested on one rainy day going to school. The themes of this movie revolve around love, support, justice, sexual violence, and social change. The movie taught me the reality of how cruel the world is despite all the good things one has done. It made me understand the amount of injustice and danger that are existing in our society, where even if with proven evidence, if accountability is not being served well, justice remains meaningless for the victim. Thus, there might be a big possibility that things might happen again. Moreover, on the other side of the story, I admire the parents and the people who loved and never made Hope feel ashamed of what she had suffered. It demonstrates that if we surround ourselves with the right people, they will never push us to the brink of our sufferings; rather, they will be with us along the way of our healing.

#4 INTERSTELLAR

Fourth on the list is the movie named "Interstellar." It is an American movie that talks about these astronauts who travel miles away from Earth in search of a new home for humanity. The themes of this movie explore love, sacrifice, and the resilience of one's spirit. What I have learned in this movie is that time is relative in everyone's life. If we put it in a more realistic situation, time flows differently in every individual. It focuses on our pace as we explore and venture in the different seasons of our lives. Sometimes we may find ourselves feeling that we are behind others, but actually, we are exactly where we are. We just need to make a lot of choices that would bring not just a progress of our lives, but also a growth within ourselves.

#5 THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER

Last but not least is the movie named "The Perks of Being a Wallflower." A little background about the word "wallflower" in the context of one's personality is that it is someone who is shy and who prefers to be alone in social gatherings or any social events. Basically, the movie talks about this one introverted boy who met friends in his high school journey that taught him to go out of his comfort zone and learn to explore life. The themes of this movie explore friendship, love, mental health, and healing. What I particularly love in this movie is the emotional depth and all the unexpected twists every now and then. It also showed me the importance of having a support system if an individual is suffering mentally. Also, while mentally recovering, it is natural to blame oneself; nonetheless, one should keep in mind that all the courses in our lives are not worth living with remorse. It's because it will hinder us from wanting a life that is best for us. Therefore, if you find yourself being in this kind of situation, acknowledge that it's not your fault, and there are things that are out of your control. That is why you need to accept things the way they are meant to be, heal, and move on.

You are now at the end of this blog, and I am so grateful for taking the time to read this. I am aware that these movies might not be one of your likes or preferences, but I am certain,

that your life is your own movie to tell.

Thank you once again, and see you on my next blog! Always keep your smile. ❤️

You will never regret watching these movies, ma'am! Enjoy po! 🥰

2 Japanese movies and 1 Korean movie. I love Asian movies. The eyes of the man in the first movie tell a lot. I didn't expect that the woman was blind.

As expected, excellent article!

Didn't know the 1st 3 on your list but bookmarked them for later

Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you'll have fun watching these movies. 🥰

Luh I'm really intrigued with the jdramas, but reading your review somehow made me hesitate because I don't really have a high tolerance for tearjerker movies. Also, hindi ako madaling makamove on, and I know I'll really be sad for hours or even days after huhuhu...Btw, I smiled when I saw Logan Lerman... he's really one of my first celeb crushes before (back when I'm a PJO fanatic)... haven't watched this movie of his yet, but it's one of my to-watch movies since then. Maybe this is a sign, I guess.

Thanks for sharing such nice reviews. Will try watching them if I have time.

Logan Lerman is so cute! Also, jdramas are so worthy to watch even if it will leave you crying for days HASHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH such life changing ❤️
