ENGLISH CONTENT
Hello to all the members of this community and movie lovers! I found out about this film years ago but it was only recently that I was finally able to watch it. I love animated films and even more if they are set in forest themes; I think that many of us when we were children used to imagine that among the plants, there lived tiny characters very similar to us... or at least that was the kind of things I imagined and played with 😆 But anyway, let's talk about what the film is about, so I can give you my opinion on it.
The story tells us how life in the forest is developing beyond what human eyes are able to perceive, because without us knowing it, the forces of life and erosion fight tirelessly to dominate one over the other. Among the allies of nature, there are the leaf men, creatures that fulfill the function of soldiers and who are in charge of keeping the forest free from the constant attacks of the Boggans, those in charge of spreading erosion, as well as protecting Queen Tara, who has the ability to manipulate nature, as well as undo the damage done by erosion, since she has the life of the forest inside her. Every 100 years, the queen must choose a cocoon which will be the heir to her powers and as the time of selection approaches, the Boggans prepare not only to prevent that from happening, but also to finish off the queen once and for all.
On the other hand, humans live their lives unaware of this "secret kingdom"... all except Professor Bomba, a man who has become obsessed with the idea that there is a small advanced civilization that lives in the woods, dedicating his entire life to researching them, a situation that led him to lose credibility in his career and even his marriage. Despite this, Bomba does not give up in his attempt to get the slightest proof that these creatures exist, placing all kinds of artifacts throughout the forest and monitoring everything from his house, where he lives alone with his dog, Ozzy.
But one day, the professor's daughter arrives to stay with him for a while, as a promise she made to her mother. After years of being estranged from her father, Mary Katherine hopes that he can return to how he was before he became obsessed with the creatures of the forest. Unfortunately for her, once she meets the man again, she realizes his level of interest in her research, acting in a somewhat erratic manner and completely attentive to any signal from her devices. Still, the girl does not give up and tries to talk to her father and recover the bond between them.
While this is going on, the day of the cocoon selection arrives and the Boggans attack at the precise moment, starting a new battle in which the life of the queen and the forest itself are in danger. Unexpectedly, while M.K. goes into the forest looking for his father's dog, he ends up not only finding that what his father said was true, but he ends up joining the leaf men to protect the life of the forest.

I had high expectations for the movie, since, even though I didn't know what it was about, I really like the themes of magical or tiny beings that live deep in the forest, but I didn't expect to like it more than I thought. The story not only seemed interesting to me, but it also kept me entertained the whole time. I hate predictable movies, but in this case, I was surprised by the events.
The graphics are beautiful, especially the character design. I love how they created the inhabitants of the forest, like the flowers and mushrooms, they seemed very tender to me. The scenes of these beings living together in the forest were really magical.
The songs are good, they put you in the scene and it doesn't happen like nowadays, when they resort to trendy songs. The background soundtrack really fulfills the function of accompanying a tale of epic adventures in the forest. My favorite song is the introduction song for one of the characters, called Nim Galuu, I just can't stop listening to it and wanting to dance to it 🎶
I really like M.K.'s character, despite being basically a teenager, they didn't choose the typical rebellious or heavy behavior, the girl seems to be quite mature and despite initially disagreeing with her father's lifestyle, she never acts rude and on the contrary, she tries to understand him. The same goes for her father, he tries to make his daughter feel comfortable even in the midst of the chaos of his investigation and the way their relationship is fixed, I found it very cute.
The same goes for Nod huha's character, despite being the rebellious boy who doesn't want to conform to the rules of the Leaf team, you don't find him heavy or annoying. The boy wants to be free, most of the time he's reckless, but he's still charming. On that note, I could say that I love the creation of the characters' personalities, because even the villains have their appeal.
As I mentioned, I didn't expect to like the movie so much and I really don't understand why I didn't know anything about it at the time. It's a nice story that kept me in suspense at all times and delighted with its graphics. I don't have anything negative to say in fact, I could watch it several times and I'm sure I wouldn't get bored... With that, it's a good movie at least for my taste. I highly recommend it if you like forest themes like me 🌳🍄🌺

¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes de las películas! Hace años me enteré de la existencia de éste filme pero fue hace poco que pude verla por fin. Me encantan las películas animadas y más si están ambientadas en temas del bosque; creo que muchos de nosotros cuando éramos niños solíamos imaginar que entre las plantas, habitaban personajes diminutos muy parecidos a nosotros... o al menos esa era la clase de cosas que yo me imaginaba y jugaba 😆 Pero bueno, hablemos sobre de qué trata el filme, para poder darle mi opinión sobre el mismo.
La historia nos relata como la vida en el bosque se va desarrollando más allá de lo que los ojos humanos son capaces de percibir, pues sin que lo sepamos las fuerzas de la vida y de la erosión, luchan incansablemente para dominar una sobre la otra. Entre los aliados de la naturaleza, se encuentran los hombres hoja, criaturas que cumplen la función de soldados y que se encargan de mantener el bosque libre de los ataques constantes de los Boggans, los encargados de propagar la erosión, así como también protegiendo a la reina Tara, quién posee la habilidad de manipular la naturaleza, así como deshacer los daños hechos de la erosión, ya que posee en su interior la vida del bosque. Cada 100 años, la reina debe escoger un capullo el cual será la heredera de sus poderes y acercándose el momento de la selección, los Boggans se preparan no sólo para evitar que eso ocurra, sino también para acabar de una vez por todas con la reina.
Por otro lado, los humanos viven sus vidas inconscientes de éste "reino secreto"... todos menos el profesor Bomba, un hombre que se ha obsesionado con la idea de que existe una pequeña civilización avanzada que habita en los bosques, dedicándole toda su vida a la investigación de los mismos, situación que lo llevó a perder la credibilidad en su carrera y hasta perder su matrimonio. A pesar de ello, Bomba no se rinde en su intento de conseguir la más mínima prueba de que aquellas criaturas existen, colocando todo tipo de artefactos a lo largo del bosque y monitoreando todo desde su casa, en donde vive solo junto a su perro, Ozzy.
Pero un día, la hija del profesor llega para quedarse con él un tiempo, como una promesa que le hizo a su madre. Luego de años de estar alejada de su padre, Mary Katherine espera que el mismo pueda volver a ser como antes de obsesionarse con las criaturas del bosque. Lamentablemente para ella, una vez que se reencuentra con el hombre, se da cuenta del nivel de interés del mismo en su investigación, actuando de una forma un tanto errática y completamente atento a cualquier señal de sus aparatos. Aún así, la chica no se da por vencida e intenta hablar con su padre y recuperare el vinculo entre ellos.
Mientras esto ocurre, llega el día de la selección del capullo y los Boggans atacan en el momento preciso, comenzando de nuevo una batalla en donde la vida de la reina y del propio bosque, corren peligro. Inesperadamente, mientras M.K. se interna en el bosque buscando al perro de su padre, acaba no sólo encontrándose con que lo que su padre decía era cierto, sino que acaba uniéndose a los hombres hojas para proteger la vida del bosque.

Tenía buenas expectativas sobre la película, ya que, aún no sabiendo de qué trataba, me gustan mucho los temas de seres mágicos o diminutos que habitan en lo profundo del bosque, pero no me esperé con que me gustaría más de lo que pensaba. La historia no sólo me pareció interesante, sino también me mantuvo entretenida todo el rato. Me molestan las películas predecibles, pero en éste caso, si me llevé mis sorpresas con los acontecimientos.
Los gráficos son hermosos, sobre todo el diseño de los personajes. Me encanta como crearon a los habitantes del bosque, como las flores y los hongos, me parecieron muy tiernos. Las escenas de estos seres conviviendo en el bosque, era realmente mágico.
Las canciones son buenas, te meten en la escena y no sucede como en la actualidad, que recurren a las canciones de moda. El soundtrack de fondo de verdad cumple con la función de acompañamiento a un cuento de aventuras épicas en el bosque. Mi canción favorita es la de presentación de uno de los personajes, llamado Nim Galuu, simplemente no puedo dejar de escucharla y querer bailarla 🎶
Me gusta muchísimo el personaje de M.K. a pesar de ser básicamente una adolescente, no escogieron el típico comportamiento rebelde o pesado, la chica se ve que es bastante madura y a pesar de estar en un principio en desacuerdo con el estilo de vida de su padre, en ningún momento se comporta grosera y al contrario, trata de comprenderlo. Lo mismo pasa con su padre, intenta hacer sentir cómoda a su hija aún en medio del caos de su investigación y el modo en que su relación se arregla, me pareció muy tierno.
Lo mismo ocurre con el personaje de Nod huha, a pesar de ser el chico rebelde que no desea sumirse a las reglas del equipo hoja, no te resulta pesado o molesto. El chico desea ser libre, la mayoría del tiempo es imprudente, pero no deja de ser encantador. Por ese lado, podría decir que la creación de las personalidades de los personajes me encanta, porque hasta los villanos tienen su atractivo.
Como mencioné, no esperé que la película me gustase tanto y realmente no entiendo porqué no supe nada de ella en su momento. Es una historia linda que me mantuvo expectante en todo momento y encantada con sus gráficos. No tengo nada negativo que decir de hecho, la podría ver varias veces y estoy segura de que no me aburriría... Ya con eso, es una película buena al menos para mi gusto. La recomiendo encarecidamente si te gustan los temas del bosque como a mí 🌳🍄🌺
