RE: #REVIEW: SPREE | OPINIÓN | CRÍTICA | [ESP-ENG] 🎬

I have not heard of this movie but from what you have said in your review, it sounds like it deals with an important topic. I don't know the content of the movie so I can't really judge what is on it. However, on the argument of whether or not the online world affects our lives, I would say, yes of course. The internet has become very influential in our lives. It's not uncommon to see someone online that looks like they have the best life and feel some sort of envy towards them. It happens to everyone once in a while.Hey there @ronycine,

I have to admit that I used to be someone that was obsessed with gaining a lot of followers on instagram and getting the admiration of others. I had a set plan to achieve a lot online but it just did not work out. Even though I had a plan to monetize my influence, I just had to let it go and change my plans. I have a lot of friends that are this way too. Even the ones that go as far as using fake likes and followers to boost their posts and profiles.

From your review, it seems like this movie is about a guy obsessed with going viral and gaining many followers. I have to agree with the movie and say that there are a lot of people like that out there except, perhaps, not in an overly toxic manner. If you have ever been on the Instagram Live of a celebrity or influencer, you would see people like that being creepy just for attention. Also, on twitter you can see people use trending hashtags irrelevant to their content just to get some attention or people spamming posts with "I follow back" comments. I have even seen a video of a guy getting very angry and emotional when the views of one of his live streams was reducing.

This problem is real and, although subtle in most people, many people have it. I think it's good that this movie shows how such problems can play out when they get too extreme. I hope I can see this movie one day. I saw online that it is of the horror genre and I really love horror films.

Greetings man!

Sort:

It is not a film to take it very seriously because it may touch a delicate subject and nothing far from reality although it may be somewhat exaggerated, but this world is so normal that enter armed schools or restaurants and end lives that it is not uncommon to think that this could happen which would be a disgrace because it would be humanity stepping on the bottom in all the shit we already have on top.

It's an interesting movie I wouldn't say horror or horror but more on a sociopathic level with delusions of grandeur and a huge need for attention.

You have to see it so you have a clearer idea and therefore an opinion that may be very different from others.

Greetings my friend! @theawesononso

The topic is a really interesting one. I will really like to see the movie!
