A QUIET PLACE: DAY ONE_{Fear Begins, Silence is the Key}

Hello Movie Lovers!
You must have heard about the movie "A Quiet Place", there are many series of this movie before. And this time I want to review one of the series entitled "A Quiet Place: Day One". This movie is very tense for me, because this movie tells the story of an alien creature that is sensitive to sound, and makes us who watch it also fall silent and hold our breath. Here is a short review from me!

SHORT SYNOPSIS

This movie focuses on a girl with cancer named Samira, she has a cat that makes her survive and able to fight her disease. Everything looks normal, until finally a group of creatures that are sensitive to sound appear, and are able to kill by eating their targets cruelly. In her mission to save herself, Samira meets Eric and becomes her friend in finding a way out.

PIZZA BECOMES SAMIRA'S LAST WISH

Before this chaos happened, Samira went to town to buy pizza with her nurse. But suddenly the city became chaotic, everyone ran to save themselves, as did Samira. After hiding and looking for a way back, Samira was finally reunited with her nurse. But unfortunately, not long after the nurse was killed by the scary creature. That made Samira desperate, she just wanted to eat pizza like her nurse promised her. So she decided to come out of hiding to look for pizza.

MEETING ERIC

While on the way, Samira was followed by Eric. Feeling disturbed, Samira asked Eric to go and save herself, she told her that there would be a ship at the dock that would accommodate survivors, because she had a different purpose. But Eric didn't care, he kept following Samira, until finally Samira gave up and let Eric be with her. And they walked to Samira's house to get medicine, because Samira couldn't stand the pain of her cancer. In that house they rested.

JOURNEY TO SEARCH FOR PIZZA AND A RESCUE SHIP

The next day, Samira and Eric decided to go out and look for pizza according to Samira's wishes. They walked carefully until they finally found a pizza restaurant, but unfortunately everything was damaged and burned. Until finally Samira let it go and asked Eric to save themselves. There was a lot of drama before they finally managed to escape from the terrifying creature, and rested in a church.

SAMIRA GIVES UP HER LIFE

After everything felt safe, Samira and Eric walked together to the pier for the rescue process. But for Samira, all of that was in vain because she would not live long. Finally, Samira asked Eric to take Frodo (her beloved cat) with her and asked him to take care of him.

CONCLUSION

There are many tense things in this film that pump up the audience's adrenaline, for me this film initially looked boring, but the storyline made my heart beat because there were so many tense and unexpected things. The scary creature made me a little scared and held my breath while watching it.

For those of you who like adventure films, I think this film is suitable for you. Don't forget to have snacks while watching it! 😊
