GALA PREMIERE OF SANTET SEGORO PITU Traditional Horror Based on a True Story
Hello movie lovers!
This time, my two younger sisters and I were invited to watch the gala premiere of a horror film, which is said to be very scary and based on a true story. At first glance, the story in the film is set in the 1980s with a story about traders who are jealous of each other because of their income. An idea came from a trader to make a deal with a genie to get profit. Here is my short review, let's check it out!
GALA PREMIERE FULL OF CELEBRITIES
My two younger sisters and I had the opportunity to attend a horror film premiere. Because the event was at night, we decided to use a vehicle that could be accessed via cellphone, so that our journey would not have many obstacles.
We traveled for about 1 hour, we arrived at a large mall in downtown Jakarta, the mall that held the gala premiere. Upon arrival there, we immediately met the players directly, the many enthusiastic fans made us scramble to get close-up pictures. My younger sister Keysha was very enthusiastic because she was a fan of one of the players. The happy expression was clearly visible on her face.
We then exchanged the invitation tickets with cinema tickets to get seat numbers in the cinema. While waiting with other invited guests, I decided to buy drinks and snacks for my friends to watch. While waiting for the film to start, we went around the cinema location which had been designed with various ornaments and properties that were in the film. Such as offerings, statues with scary conditions and also genies who acted as carriers of the Segoro Pitu black magic.
SHORT REVIEW OF THE FILM SANTET SEGORO PITU
I will tell you a little spoiler from this film, the film entitled "Santet Segoro Pitu" is a film that tells about the competition between traders that occurred in the 1980s. Starting from a family who owns a grocery store in a market, besides Sucipto's shop played by Christian Sugiono in the market, there must be other shops that also sell the same goods as Sucipto. Because Sucipto's shop is so busy, it makes some traders jealous and try to send various black magic to Sucipto.
A few moments after Sucipto found strange objects that often appeared in his shop, he fell ill. The family tried to take him to various hospitals, there were no signs that Sucipto had an illness. Until finally a shaman said that someone sent black magic to Sucipto with full of revenge and anger. After investigation, it was finally discovered that the black magic sent to Sucipto was "Santet Segoro Pitu". This black magic came from an island across the way which is famous for its high level of black magic. Because it is difficult to remove the effects of the black magic, in a short period of time one by one the members of Sucipto's family died horribly.
SUMMARY
For me, this film is very suitable to watch alone or with family, but make sure your family likes horror films. The storyline is actually very classic, easy to guess and looks monotonous. But with the help of the acting of the players, this film is quite worthy to watch. After watching this I found out about this black magic, and I found that this had happened to a family. Horrible, right? Hopefully we can all avoid bad things like that.
After watching, we immediately chose to go home because it was late at night. With the film, we spent our journey home discussing the film. until we didn't realize we had arrived home safely. And next I will invite my two beloved little sisters to do something else interesting!
For those of you who have younger siblings, don't forget to go together and spend time making memories together, because without realizing it our little sisters are getting more and more mature every day.
