Matrix
Yesterday, and after a long time, I sat down to watch one of the classic films I had on my to do list (yes, I had seen the Matrix, but not the whole thing).
It's worth noting that I've always been a film lover (not very professionally) but in my forties, although it seems like it should have been the opposite, I stopped watching films on my own; that is, I stopped dedicating my free time to this kind of activities, and I would only watch them at some family gathering and they were mostly of those silly, family films (which I love, but we know they're not great movies).
But as it turns out, yesterday I got up the courage to watch the Matrix with a friend and it reminded me of the times when I used to enjoy them a lot and was given the task of critiquing and admiring the work of the Matrix.
For this reason, I decided to create a section in my blog with this, I don't promise constancy, but somewhere to start. And what better way to do it than with a film like Matrix?

Ayer, y después de mucho tiempo me senté a ver una película clásica de las que tenía en mi to do list (si, había visto Matrix, pero no completa).
Cabe recalcar que desde siempre he sido amante del cine (no muy profesionalmente) pero en la cuarentena, aunque parezca que debió ser lo contrario, dejé de ver películas por mi propia cuenta; es decir, dejé de dedicarle de mi tiempo libre a este tipo de actividades, y solo las vería en alguna reunión familiar y eran en su mayoría de esas películas tontas y familiares (que me encantan, pero sabemos que no son peliculones).
Pero resulta, que ayer me animé a ver Matrix con un amigo y me hizo recordar los tiempos en que solía disfrutar mucho de ellas y me daba la tarea de criticar y admirar el trabajo de la misma.
Por esta razón, me animé a crear una sección en mi blog con esto, no prometo constancia, pero por algún lugar se empieza ¿Y qué mejor forma de hacerlo que con una película como Matrix?

The Matrix is the first film in the Matrix trilogy, written and directed by the Wachowski sisters. It stars Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss and Hugo Weaving in the lead roles.
The film is about what the world is like in approximately 2200, how technology beat the human race and artificial intelligence managed to hold us captive in an imaginary world, controlling our minds.
We ended up with the source of energy in the world and the programs discovered that we are energetic entities that works for them, therefore, they captured us and connected us to an imaginary world where we live a "normal" life called Matrix.
Matrix es la primera película de la trilogía Matrix, escritas y dirigidas por las hermanas Wachowski. Están protagonizadas en sus papeles principales por Keanu Reeves, Laurence Fishburne, Carrie-Anne Moss y Hugo Weaving.
La película trata de cómo es el mundo en el 2200 aproximadamente, cómo la tecnología le ganó a la raza humana y la inteligencia artificial logró, mantenernos cautivos en un mundo imaginario, controlando nuestra mente.
Nosotros acabamos con la fuente de energía en el mundo y los programas descubrieron que nosotros somos entes enérgicos que les funciona para ellos, por lo tanto, nos capturaron y nos conectaron a un mundo imaginario en donde hacemos vida ¨normal¨ llamada Matrix.
Capture taken from NetflixThere are impressive details, like the way they keep the sequence of the film, because when they enter the ¨matrix¨ everything is seen with a greener tone, they don't have the elements of connection to it visible.
Although it seems that they didn't have much budget to film or much technology, they managed to create a very good film, more than anything by the story, since from the beginning it captures you and makes you stay watching it until the end, since it doesn't explain you from the beginning what it is about, but it gives you clues until you can get to the meaning of it.
Hay detalles impresionante, como la forma en que mantienen la secuencia de la película, ya que cuando entran al ¨matrix¨ se ve todo con un tono más verde, no tienen los elementos de conexión a ella visibles.
A pesar de que parece que no tenían mucho presupuesto para grabar o mucha tecnología, lograron crear una muy buena película, más que nada por la historia, ya que desde un inicio te captura y hace que te quedes mirándola hasta el final, ya que no te explica desde el inicio de que trata, si no que te va dando pistas hasta poder llegar a el significado de la misma.

Anyone who sees it superficially sees it as a simple film, but they make a lot of allegories about how everything is in the mind, that the mind controls everything, because when you die in the Matrix, you die the same way in real life, because of the power of the mind.
It talks about destiny and how we can supposedly be masters of it. It makes us question whether we really live in the Matrix or in real life.
It has funny scenes, like when they are training, with a disc they can download all the information they need to know kung fu or any martial art.
Cualquiera que la ve superficialmente, la ve como una película simple, pero hacen muchas alegorías de cómo todo está en la mente, que esta es la que controla todo, porque cuando uno muere en la Matrix, muere de igual forma en la vida real, por el poder que tiene la mente.
Habla del destino y de como supuestamente podemos ser dueños del mismo. Nos hace cuestionar si realmente vivimos en la Matrix o en la vida real.
Tiene escenas cómicas, como cuando están entrenándose, con un disco pueden descargar toda la información que necesitan para saber kung fu o cualquier arte marcial.

In short, it is a very interesting film, I recommend it to you.

Matrix es una de mis trilogías favorita, aunque pronto dejará de ser una trilogía porque la cuarta parte ya está en producción. Si te interesa saber más sobre el universo de la Matrix, hay una peli animada poco conocida llamada The Animatrix y es de los mismos creadores. Esta peli tiene una serie de historias originales que suceden en la Matrix. Bastante buena la verdad.

De mis películas favoritas y que más de la mano de mis actores favoritos como lo es Keanu Reeves. Creo que es un must-watch en el mundo del cine y viendo tu reseña hasta me dieron ganas de verla de nuevo jajaja.
