I simply consider Space Force to be wasted potential. I watched it, I looked forward to it, and really hoped that it would made me laugh a lot. But somehow, it didn't have that effect on me. Mr. Bean is crazy all the time and far from reality in everything, which makes it easy to laugh and enjoy. Space Force tries to be somewhat serious when it deals with the drinking problems of the daughter and more, but then, it is residing somewhere between comedy and parody, but doesn't end up in any of the categories. In other words, this was a big disappointment to me.
That's exactly my feeling as well. It tries to wear many hats but excels in neither of them.
