¿Comó están el día de hoy? Yo muy bien, muy feliz de estar por aquí para comentarles que hace un buen tiempo ya, junto a mi madre, vi una película muy muy linda, la cual vale muchísimo la pena darle una oportunidad. La película de la que hablo es el libro de Henry, la cual, además de ser muy buena, resulta siendo muy desgarradora. Sin más, quiero comentarles un poco de qué va esta película, y obviamente mi opinión de la misma

The film I'm talking about is the book by Henry, which, besides being very good, turns out to be very heartbreaking. Without further ado, I want to tell you a bit about what this film is about, and obviously my opinion of it.

En una ciudad pequeña, Henry Carpenter es un chico de 11 años con una mente brillante y una enorme responsabilidad. Su mamá, Susan, es una mujer algo despreocupada y su hermano menor, Peter, es un niño encantador. Henry se ocupa de diversas tareas en el hogar, abarcando desde las finanzas hasta el cuidado de Peter. Asimismo, posee un cuaderno confidencial en el que registra sus ideas y propósitos.
In a small town, Henry Carpenter is an 11-year-old boy with a brilliant mind and an enormous responsibility. His mother, Susan, is a somewhat carefree woman and his younger brother, Peter, is a charming boy. Henry takes on a variety of tasks in the household, ranging from finances to looking after Peter. He also keeps a confidential notebook in which he records his thoughts and intentions.

El filme nos presenta a Henry, quien a pesar de ser joven, logra hacerse cargo de su vida y de la de su familia. Igualmente, observamos el desarrollo de Susan, quien transformándose de una madre algo negligente a una mujer audaz y resoluta. "El Libro de Henry" narra una historia centrada en el valor, la familia y la relevancia de defender lo que consideramos justo, aunque eso implique violar ciertas normas.
The film introduces us to Henry, who despite being young, manages to take charge of his life and that of his family. We also see the development of Susan, who transforms from a somewhat neglectful mother into a bold and resolute woman. "The Book of Henry" tells a story centred on courage, family and the importance of standing up for what is right, even if that means breaking certain rules.

El Libro de Henry es una película que, de verdad, me generó sensaciones inmensas en el momento en que la logré ver. Por un lado, la idea inicial me resultó muy intrigante: un niño prodigio que se preocupa por su familia y que puede crear estrategias complejas para solucionar dificultades. La interpretación de Jaeden Martell en el papel de Henry es realmente admirable. Realmente me encanta este actor, ha estado en películas que me han enamorado, y esta sin duda es una de ellas. El joven expresa gran inteligencia y carisma. Asimismo, la conexión entre Henry y su hermano menor, Peter, es muy dulce y entretenida.
The Book of Henry is a film that, truly, generated immense sensations in me the moment I managed to see it. On the one hand, I found the initial idea very intriguing: a child prodigy who cares about his family and who can create complex strategies to solve difficulties. Jaeden Martell's performance as Henry is really admirable. I really love this actor, he has been in films that I have fallen in love with, and this is certainly one of them. The young man expresses great intelligence and charisma. Also, the connection between Henry and his younger brother, Peter, is very sweet and entertaining.
No obstante, conforme transcurre la película, la trama comienza a seguir direcciones que no me convencieron completamente. Existen ciertos giros narrativos que me resultaron algo forzados y un poco extraños, la verdad. Asimismo, La madre, interpretada por Naomi Watts, me pareció que tuvo una actuación muy buena, tanto así que te genera cierta rabia por lo inconsciente. En ocasiones se comporta como una madre negligente y despreocupada, mientras que en otros momentos muestra ser una persona muy razonable y dedicada.
However, as the film progresses, the plot starts to go in directions that didn't entirely convince me. There are certain narrative twists and turns that I found a bit forced and a bit strange, to be honest. Also, I thought the mother, played by Naomi Watts, gave a very good performance, so much so that it generates a certain unconscious rage in you. At times she behaves like a negligent and uncaring mother, while at other times she shows herself to be a very reasonable and dedicated person.
A pesar de sus fallos, la película presenta ciertos instantes muy emotivos y conmovedores, sin duda alguna. El filme aborda cuestiones significativas como la familia, el coraje y la relevancia de defender lo que consideramos justo. Asimismo, disfruté bastante la manera en que la película trata el tema del abuso infantil, tratando de apegarse un poco a la realidad de estos casos, que no son perfectamente atendidos
Despite its flaws, the film has some very moving and touching moments, no doubt. The film addresses significant issues such as family, courage and the relevance of standing up for what we believe is right. I also quite enjoyed the way the film deals with the issue of child abuse, trying to stick a little bit to the reality of these cases, which are not perfectly dealt with.
Sin duda uno de mis aspectos favoritos es la actuación de Henry. Este chico posee un talento absoluto. Igualmente, disfruté mucho la banda sonora de la película, lo cual fue otro de mis aspectos favoritos, que complementa perfectamente la narrativa y genera una atmósfera conmovedora y envolvente.
Without a doubt one of my favourite aspects is Henry's performance. This boy is an absolute talent. I also really enjoyed the film's soundtrack, which was another of my favourite aspects, which perfectly complements the narrative and creates a moving and enveloping atmosphere.
En relación con lo negativo, pienso que el mayor inconveniente de la película es su argumento. Existen ciertas situaciones que me resultaron poco creíbles y algunos diálogos que no lograron convencerme por completo. Asimismo, el ritmo de la película presenta cierta irregularidad, ya que hay instantes en los que la narración progresa rápidamente y otros en los que se detiene excesivamente en pormenores que no enriquecen la trama.
On the negative side, I think the biggest drawback of the film is its plot. There are some situations that I found not very credible and some dialogues that didn't convince me completely. Likewise, the pace of the film is somewhat uneven, as there are moments when the narrative progresses quickly and others when it dwells excessively on details that do not enrich the plot.
A pesar de todos estos detalles, la película es una cinta que me hizo pensar en la relevancia de la familia y la urgencia de defender lo que creemos. Si bien no es una obra maestra, pienso que puede ser una alternativa interesante para disfrutar de un tiempo ameno y vivir una historia distinta.
Despite all these details, the film is a film that made me think about the relevance of family and the urgency of standing up for what we believe in. Although it is not a masterpiece, I think it can be an interesting alternative to enjoy a pleasant time and experience a different story.

Sabes se ve interesante, aúnque la películas con dramas, y así no no mi fuerte xq me pegan mucho, está película se ve muy entretenido.
