Movies & TV Shows for welcoming me to publish in the community, this is my first post although I already have a little experience writing reviews and analysis of audiovisual products, my name is Victoria, I like cooking, video games, art and series / movies, I hope you find this and my future posts interesting.
What makes Hamilton majestic.
Hamilton is a musical play written by Lin-Manuel Miranda it was conceived mainly in 2008, however it was not until 2015 that Lin-Manuel finished writing it and presenting the first song "Alexander Hamilton" of what he called "The Alexander Hamilton Mixtape", if you are already familiar with this play you can understand why this name, For those who do not, Hamilton is a separate play in two main acts composed of 24 songs the first and 25 the second, all these songs were developed in conjunction with the sequences of the play.
With this simple introduction we can address what makes Hamilton one of the best musicals I have seen and more than that the play that made me really appreciate the (musicals) genre and that could make you start appreciating them in a different way.
Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to see the play live, my first contact with it was through Disney + at its premiere, when I found it for the first time on the home screen I had no idea what it was about, it caught my attention by the trailer and the way the actors were disguised, I thought it would be a more sober narrative of the USA war of independence, closer to documentaries than to what the play of Hamilton really aims to.
If this trailer doesn't give you goosebumps you should check your blood temperature.
If this is your first contact with the play, Welcome you are one step away from beginning to appreciate one of the great creations of our time, their musical pieces are all hip-hop style As can be seen in the trailer, the interpretation of the actors (some better than others) , the development of characters, although based on real people who lived and left their story captured, has merit due to the poetic licenses that the writers took for the marked and interesting personality of the characters.
The musical part of the musical.
As in all musical appreciation, this is a totally subjective part, if you like one song more than another or all the same, it is up to everyone to mark their preferences based on their tastes, which I want to highlight among other aspects, and running the risk that the interpretation of Quantity before quality ends up appearing, is the wide musical repertoire of Hamilton , it is extensive and modestly varied, within the limits of the genre < em> (as I mentioned before, mostly hip-hop oriented) , it is very easy for you to find one or more pieces that you can identify with or that you simply like.
A small list of the songs that stand out for me over the others and personal recommendations for those who still do not dare to see the play can enjoy these themes and understand them individually.

The history behind the story
The Hamilton musical is based on the history of the wars of independence of the United States of America, using as the axis one of the founding fathers Alexander Hamilton , the play takes us from the miserable life that Hamilton suffered in his childhood, his achievements related to his intelligence as a teenager and how in New York you can be a new man .
The multiple battles that were fought to declare the United States of America as an independent nation (in this case from the British crown of George III) , do not feature Hamilton in its entirety, However, he played a fundamental part in the outcome and thus won the trust of General George Washington, a famous personality in the history of this country.
Hamilton the musical tries to accommodate these historical data in a faithful and coherent way without neglecting the entertainment, each of the characters involved presents an arc that adapts to their personality as the story progresses, Burr learns to trust himself more and that is why he ends up killing Hamilton, Alexander is consumed by the pride of believing that he is special and ends up hurting his family and causing his son to die in a duel (just like him) .
Purity details
There are details that are worth mentioning, which by themselves do not constitute a fundamental part of the story, but they do add depth and the touch of affection that we all like to see in audiovisual works.
Alexander and Aaron Burr share a destiny that is linked not only in what happens to them, since they met in New York, these two continue to meet by pure chance and (at least in the musical) they have diametrically opposite personalities, Burr takes his time to think and do things carefully, for his part Hamilton is more impulsive, he does not want to waste any opportunity and this is reflected in the themes of each character (My shot and Wait for it, respectively)
Eliza Schuyler was the last of the characters represented in the play to die, she founded an orphanage and lived to be 97 years old, she is the only character in the play that does not have songs accelerated with rap rhythms because being the one who lived the longest, she has all the time to tell her story calmly, however characters like Hamilton or Angelica Schuyler have to sing as fast as possible because they did not live that long.
My recomendation
Hamilton the musical is a play that from my heart I can say is a marvel of creation, I never thought that this kind of topic would be suitable for a musical of this style and yet here it is, being in my opinion the best (for now I have seen few musicals but between this and The rocky Horror picture show they take the gold) for musicals lovers, highly recommended for those who have never had contact with a musical, highly recommended , it is light, interesting and the songs are very good, without a doubt you will end up adding a few to your Spotify playlist.

Lo que hace majestuosa a Hamilton.
Hamilton es una obra musical escrita por Lin-Manuel Miranda se concibió principalmente en 2008, sin embargo no fue sino hasta 2015 que Lin-Manuel terminó de escribirla y a presentar la primera canción "Alexander Hamilton" de lo que llamó "The Alexander Hamilton Mixtape", si ya estás familiarizado con esta obra puedes entender a que se debe este nombre, para quienes no, Hamilton es una obra separada en dos actos principales compuestos por 24 canciones el primero y 25 el segundo, todas estas canciones fueron elaboradas en conjunto con las secuencias de la obra de teatro.
Con esta sencilla introducción podemos abordar lo que hace a Hamilton uno de los mejores musicales que he visto y más que eso la obra que me hizo apreciar realmente el género (musicales) y que podría hacer que tu comenzaras a apreciarlos de una forma distinta.
Lastimosamente no he tenido la oportunidad de ver la obra en vivo, mi primer contacto con ella fue a través de Disney+ en su estreno, cuando la encontré por primera vez en la pantalla de inicio no tenía ni idea de que trataba, me llamó la atención el trailer y la forma en la que estaban disfrazados los actores, pensé que sería una narrativa más sobria de la guerra de independencia de USA, más acercado a los documentales que a lo que realmente apunta la obra de Hamilton.
Si este trailer no te pone la piel de gallina deberías revisar la temperatura de tu sangre.
Si este es tu primer contacto con la obra, Bienvenido/a estás a un paso de comenzar a apreciar una de las grandes creaciones de nuestra época, son sus piezas musicales todas al estilo hip-hop como se puede apreciar en el trailer, la interpretación de los actores (algunos mejores que otros), el desarrollo de personajes, aunque basados en personas reales que vivieron y dejaron su historia plasmada, tiene mérito debido a las licencias poéticas que se tomaron los escritores para la personalidad tan marcada e interesante de los personajes.
La parte musical del musical.
Como en toda apreciación musical, esta es una parte totalmente subjetiva, si te gusta una canción más que otra o todas por igual, queda de parte de cada quien marcar sus preferencias basadas en sus gustos, lo que quiero resaltar por delante de otros aspectos, y corriendo el riesgo que termine apareciendo la interpretación de Cantidad antes que calidad, es el amplio repertorio musical de Hamilton, es extenso y modestamente variado, dentro de los límites del género (como he mencionado antes, mayormente orientado al hip-hop), es muy fácil que encuentres una o varias piezas con las que puedas identificarte o que simplemente te agraden.
Una pequeña lista de las canciones que para mi destacan sobre las demás y recomendaciones personales para quienes aun no se animen a ver la obra puedan disfrutar estos temas y entenderlos individualmente.

La historia detrás de la historia.
El musical de Hamilton está basado en la historia de las guerras de independencia de Estados Unidos de América, usando como eje a uno de los padres fundadores Alexander Hamilton, la obra nos lleva desde la vida miserable que sufrió Hamilton en su infancia, sus logros relacionados a su inteligencia desde adolescente y de como en New York puedes ser un hombre nuevo.
Las múltiples batallas que se libraron para declarar a los Estados Unidos de América como una nación independiente (en este caso de la corona británica de Jorge III), no tienen como protagonista a Hamilton en toda su extensión, sin embargo tomó parte fundamental en el desenlace y de esta forma ganarse la confianza del general George Washington, personaje célebre de la historia de este país.
Hamilton el musical intenta acomodar estos datos históricos de forma fiel y coherente sin dejar de lado el entretenimiento, cada uno de los personajes involucrados presenta un arco que se adapta a su personalidad a medida que avanza la historia, Burr aprende a confiar más en si mismo y es por ello que termina matando a Hamilton, Alexander se ve consumido por la soberbia de creer que es especial y termina haciendo daño a su familia y haciendo que su hijo muera en un duelo (igual que el).
Detalles de pureza
Hay detalles que vale la pena mencionar, que por si solos no constituyen una parte fundamental de la historia, pero si que agregan profundidad y el toque de cariño que tanto nos gusta ver a todos en obras audiovisuales.
Alexander y Aaron Burr comparten un destino que se enlaza no solo en lo que les sucede, desde que se conocen en New York, estos dos continúan encontrándose por pura casualidad y (por lo menos en el musical) tienen personalidades diametralmente opuestas, Burr se toma su tiempo para pensar y hacer las cosas cuidadosamente, por su parte Hamilton es más impulsivo, no quiere desperdiciar ninguna oportunidad y esto se ve reflejado en los temas de cada personaje (My shot y Wait for it, respectivamente)
Eliza Schuyler fue la última de los personajes representados en la obra en morir, fundó un orfanato y llegó a vivir 97 años, es el único personaje dentro de la obra que no tiene canciones aceleradas con ritmos de rap porque al ser quien vivió más, tiene todo el tiempo para contar su historia con calma, sin embargo personajes como Hamilton o Angelica Schuyler tienen que cantar lo más rápido posible porque no vivieron tanto tiempo.
Mi recomendación
Hamilton el musical es una obra que de corazón puedo decir es una maravilla de la creación, nunca pensé que el tema que trata sería adecuado para un musical de este estilo y sin embargo aquí está, siendo en mi opinión el mejor (por ahora he visto pocos musicales pero entre este y The rocky Horror picture show se llevan el oro) para los amantes de los musicales, recomendadisimo para quienes no han tenido contacto nunca con un musical, recomendadisimo, es ligero, interesante y las canciones son muy buenas, sin duda terminarás por agregar unas cuantas a tu lista de reproducción de Spotify.
