It's been awhile since I watched a Korean drama. I haven't been into Korean dramas, and I always watch some horror movies. It was because I was neglecting watching romance scenes. But this time, there is this Korean series that I was waiting for to air, and it finally aired last Saturday. I started watching the first 3 episodes of this series yesterday, and I wasn't able to finish watching the next episodes due to my fever. But this time, I was able to finish them today, as I started watching them early in the morning when I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep.
The title of this Korean drama that I am talking about is "Hierarchy."
The first time that I saw the video about this Korean drama, I thought this was the "Bitch x Rich" Korean drama version 2.

The vibe, the spoiler scenes, and the theme are very similar to Bitch x Rich, where some rich high school students bully the poor students.
Now, let's talk about my thoughts about this drama series.
What I liked about this Korean drama was the opening. Because the background music really gives me a rich or expensive vibe. I can already sense that this drama is much cooler or more expensive, and the director really gives his all just so this drama series will reach the viewers imagination or what they will expect from this drama.
When I said that the director really gave his best for his project, this is what I meant. Everything in this drama are expensive.
When I watched the drama's spoiler video, the female protagonist surprised me the most. I had no idea that she was Roh Jeong Eui. In this series, she had a completely different appearance. I watched her at "18 again," and she had round checks, which suited her because she looked cute. Now, she appeared more attractive and slimmer. I think? She lost weight just for her role in this series.
After watching the total of 7 episodes of this Korean drama...
I focused on the story of this drama—even though, it's hard for me to focus because Kim Jae Won is flirting with me here. Oppa saranghae! >_<
Charought! Ehm..wait! I will be serious now. I will set aside my admiration for him and back to our main topic,
For me, this drama is not that new anymore. But! I really like it when it really manages expectations. It's really a true-to-life, rich life because there are some Korean dramas that are not promising in their roles, which makes me feel disappointed as a viewer. The lives of the rich characters in this drama are not that OA either. They are cool.
I also like the story of this drama because there are plot twists, and the director makes it difficult for the viewers to guess if there is a love triangle. Which of the two men is really the protagonist or antagonist? This drama is confusing too because it is not focused on the relationship; it is more like focusing on the lives of the characters after the incident happened.
I was actually confused by the title, but when I watched all the episodes, I finally understood what hierarchy means in this drama. I think there will be Season 2 of this drama series because it hasn't answered my questions yet, and I hope the other viewers feel the same too.
After all, this series is different from the ones I've watched. Maybe this is just the same as the Bitch x Rich kdrama on the vibe, but I love it when the director tells the story differently because there are additional things that have been put in place to give interest to the audience. I read reviews from viewers about this drama, and some were disappointed. It seems they didn't understand the story that well.
Is watching this Korean drama worth the hype or not?
For me, it's not about following the hype because there are viewers who just watched it because of the cast. I actually watched it because I was curious if this series was the same as the school dramas I watched, and I also wanted to know what the hierarchy meant in this drama.
So, it depends on the viewers if this is worth watching. We have different tastes when it comes to what we like to watch.

Oh, sorry, ma'am, but this is a dark high school-themed kdrama. More on mystery, crime, and dr*gs. I recommend you watch the on-going Dreaming of Cinde Fxxxing Rella instead.

Wait, that's her now? I didn't recognize her, seriously, I know her coz I already see her in some drama, the latest is from Our Beloved Summer. She looks more mature now, but really, I like her old look, it's just that, I can't see the old her in this new image. Omg. Why oh why, lol. I think a lot has change, not just the face shape.
