Bienvenidos cinéfilos de hive. Mirando historias en instagram me encuentro con una conocida quien recomendaba esta película, y como el titulo me llamo mucho la atención ya que dentro de la filosofía se hace la idea de que los domingos son días de sufrimiento... no voy a entrar en detalle al respecto, vamos a la película que tiene muchos puntos interesantes, y donde podremos hondar en la profundidad del protagonista, leyendo sus miedos y sus dramas.

Welcome hive movie buffs. Looking through stories on Instagram I came across an acquaintance who recommended this movie, and since the title really caught my attention since within the philosophy the idea is that Sundays are days of suffering... I'm not going to go into detail about it, let's go to the movie itself, which has many interesting points, and where we can delve into the depth of the protagonist, reading about his fears and his dramas.

La pelicula se trata de Iair Said, quien protagoniza a David, y nos muestra su viaje de vuelta a la Argentina por el fallecimiento de su Tío. Antes de llegar del viaje, David necesita tomar una pastilla para poder viajar en Avión, pero la toma antes de tiempo, se sorprenderán lo que hace para no dormirse antes de subir al avión... Creo que desde este inicio conjeturo que la película nos muestra lo difícil que termina siendo el vivir en este mundo, y no digo de la plena supervivencia con la tecnología que contamos, sino lo absurdo que se vuelve la misma, y por ende insoportable para el ser.

The film is about Iair Said, who plays David, and shows us his trip back to Argentina after the death of his uncle. Before returning from the trip, David needs to take a pill to be able to travel by plane, but he takes it too early, you will be surprised at what he does to not fall asleep before boarding the plane... I think that from the beginning I guess that the film shows us how difficult it ends up being to live in this world, and I'm not talking about full survival with the technology we have, but how absurd it becomes, and therefore unbearable for the human being.

En esta escena, la de la campera violeta es una tia de David, quien al encontrarse con el, le hace el "típico" comentario que hacen sobre el cuerpo -"Estas más gordo"-. Romantizando un poco la situación, y entendiendo al otro como carente de aprender que no se habla del cuerpo ajeno, no tiene mucho mas protagonismo esta tía, además del debate con el responsable del cementerio, con quien discute el precio del entierro. Mientras tanto, David va... como si una ola imaginaria lo llevara, acompañando a su manera a la familia en este primer duelo. Y digo primer duelo... ya que el padre de el esta enfermo y en coma.

In this scene, the one in the purple jacket is one of David's aunts, who, upon meeting him, makes the "typical" comment about a body - "You're fatter." Romanticizing the situation a bit, and understanding the other as lacking in learning that one does not talk about another's body, this aunt does not have much more prominence, apart from the debate with the cemetery manager, with whom she discusses the price of the burial. Meanwhile, David goes... as if an imaginary wave carried him, accompanying the family in his own way in this first mourning. And I say first mourning... since his father is sick and in a coma.

Aquí, ya dolido por un choque de auto luego de una fiesta, y pintado, David da un último saludo a su padre, que parece que estaba esperándolo para despedirse... En la película surgen cuestiones de sexualidad, goces, búsquedas de placer, sentimientos que no sabemos que entidades colocarles, que todos sentimos alguna vez (y con mas frecuencia los domingos), donde la insoportable fragilidad de nosotros se hace más latente. Sin duda nos muestra una parte de David sentimental, y justo la parte de la imagen que compartí anteriormente, una frase que me marco... dice: "Tengo miedo de quedarme solo, y no encontrar a nadie como vos y papa (refiriéndose a la mama, quien acompaño en la enfermedad a su padre en coma)". Sin duda un miedo que muchos de nosotros en esta sociedad tan globalizada, que esta tan sumergida en lo apresurado y en el aquí y ahora, nos hace replantearnos lo que verdaderamente vale en la vida del ser humano

Here, already hurt by a car crash after a party, and painted, David gives a last greeting to his father, who seems to have been waiting for him to say goodbye... In the film, questions of sexuality, pleasures, searches for pleasure, feelings that we don't know what entities to place on them, that we all feel at some time (and more frequently on Sundays), where the unbearable fragility of us becomes more latent. Without a doubt, it shows us a sentimental part of David, and just the part of the image that I shared earlier, a phrase that left a mark on me... it says: "I'm afraid of being alone, and not finding anyone like you and dad (referring to the mother, who accompanied her father in a coma during his illness)." Without a doubt, a fear that many of us in this globalized society, which is so submerged in the haste and in the here and now, make us rethink what is truly valuable in the life of a human being.
