You're right, I don't know why they used that hook, which was probably going to be disconcerting, as you mention.
But it is somewhat comforting to know that such violent events did not occur.

I just wonder how they get away with that and also wonder if there are people out there that actually believe that these things did happen. For me, I started to doubt the authenticity of their claims I think it was season 2 when Billy Bob Thornton's character was posing as a dentist, as if this was something that you could just casually learn as a disguise.
