Castlevania is a 4 season Netflix series that has been available for streaming and in-app download all through this year.
The series centres on Dracula whose wife was burnt alive by some Christian fanatics who refused to understand the workings of science and accused her of witchcraft.
In response to the loss of his wife, Dracula who had been begged by his wife into accepting humans went crazy and began a mass genocide around Wallachia. Through the assistance of other vampires and 2 humans, his plan was in motion.
His son, Alucard who was named as his opposite opposed him through the help of a Speaker-Magician called Sypha Bernades and a vampire hunter called Trevor Belmont who's family has a long history of killing vampires until they were all killed by the church.
Through wit, courage and lack of alcohol, the trio was able to kill Dracula stop the mass genocide.
After their victory, they went their separate ways; Alucard Tepes remaining to guard Dracula's home and the Belmont home, while Trevor and Sypha head out for an adventure.
During Trevor and Sypha's adventures, they find themselves in contestant battles everywhere they go, having to fight constantly with people trying to bring Dracula back from the dead.
Their quest leads them to a constant state of confusion as they kept on fighting battles without a plan.
These many battles lead them to the heart of the problem where they encountered an old vampire who turned out to be Death himself.
Well, their fight gets iffy and Trevor pretty much does but is brought back through the infinite corridor and... Dracula and his wife Lisa are also brought back to life... Crazy...
Makes you wonder what's going to happen next. I anticipate a 5th season coz the suspense we were left with is dreadful.
I highly recommend this Anime if you can handle the goriness. At first, I didn't think I could, but I think I've outgrown being scared of Anime.

One of the best-animated series ever produced by Netflix. The last season didn't have my favorite action scenes but it was good nonetheless and I liked how each character was in a happy place in the end. Looking forward to seeing which new animated series gets produced by Netflix.

I quite enjoyed this as well and love how gory it is. I was a fan of the games back in the day but was kind of unfamiliar with the lore surrounding it (if that is what this is.) It's certainly not for kids and like @dedicatedguy suggested, I agree that it is one of the best animated series ever on Netflix for sure.
