It rained a lot lately and I put some plants inside but since there's more sun I dragged them outside again. I planned to let the pepper plants survive the winter.
Although, a dry summer lies behind us I have walnuts again and some almonds. The strong wind gave me a hand. They are small but I'm glad
Most walnuts dried outside. I only need to collect them. What I won't eat I will burn this winter in the woodstove it keeps the fire on which is a good thing.
I was surprised to see almonds but if I puck them up and let them dry outside. They are kind of glued to their "cover" which feels very soft. I'm excited to have some after all those years. It's hard to crack them. I hope the tree will have some offspring since it's old and it would be nice. Just like I thank the chicken for the egg I thank the trees for their gifts. Gardening with the help of nature is so much easier than with all those bought seeds and plants.
