The LeoFinance Engagement Table
The table is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Any account that made a comment on leofinance.io earned a score, but only the top 100 scores are listed.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following as types of engagement:
- Posts made using leofinance.io (P)
- Comments made using leofinance.io (C)
- Number of people spoken to where the comment was made using leofinance.io (PS)
- Comments made outside of own posts using leofinance.io (CO)
- Unique Author posts commented on where the comment was made using leofinance.io (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes (SV)

No, not from India but I thought you were! I only have linguistic skills in English and the Puerto Rican dialect of Spanish.
When I was in the military as a young man, I made it a point to learn a little bit of the native language to each country where I served.
As HIVE has people from all over the world, I try to be considerate of other's mother-tongue. I think it is fantastic that many folks post articles in both English and their native language. This makes HIVE more inviting in my opinion.
Since I comment much more than I author articles, every once in a while I will try to find out a person's home. I then, with the assistance from Google Translate, respond in their home-country's language.
Normally it is a short comment as Google Translate is okay, but sometimes literally translates a colloquial expression from English!
Hopefully choosing Hindi over Urdu was okay. Was not sure whether you were from the North or Southern part of India.

OMG - I can't believe I made the top 100 !!! I've been here less than a month, but I'm really enjoying it.
I've learnt it's about engagement and not about just "posting". My self-votes were generally mistakes whilst getting used to the platform as I don't see any need to vote for myself (I'd prefer other people to vote).
I also now really enjoy writing comments on other articles - be they supportive, discussion based, or just my point of view.

The number of people closing in on 200 comments for the week is really encouraging.
It is terrific to see the top numbers growing but that is now where we will see massive changes. If we get dozens of people putting up a couple hundred comments a week, that will go a long way to enhancing the engagement we see on here.

I admit that my frontend of choice is (was) Ecency.
Now, I make a conscious decision with @leofinace originated posts that I switch to this site for answering and upvoting. Also, I check the feed here more regularly.

The fact that i'm not on this list makes me very sad.
That and motivated to get there next week. When i started on hive the contests that you and paulag had for redfish and for commenting were the main motivation that kept me growing during the early days.
People need something to aim for and having good engagement and growth prizes is a big help.

Most are through the dapplr app as it's where I browse content a lot when I have free time. I don't spend much time on the computer at the moment and LeoFinance on the mobile isn't the best. I'll try harder this week.
Always enjoy having a look at the new table every Saturday; congratulations to the winners! @taskmaster445le seems about as untouchable as @janton once was, over on the Hive league. But well done on so much engagement!
I was surprised to see my own name as highly listed... I didn't actually have much time this week.

Wow this was a very helpful article, just to see what you are doing engagement wise, where you are going wrong and what you can improve apon, I notice I appear to be upvoting my own posts more than any other user, Is this wrong as I was reading posts where users have said they do this, I certainly need to be commenting and engaging with other users more, I was recently gifted Hive Power from @Peakd Thank you @peakd because I was struggling to understand the system including the HP system which gave me a reason to research and find some understanding, I have so much to learn and articles like these are extremely helpful Thank You for posting.

Personally I think it's fine to upvote your own content once a day. If you are producing 3/4 posts then voting them all could be seen as a little excessive.
