I'm pretty much sitting here waiting for the call. :) I actually expected to get it by now, so who knows. I was called into work a few times last week, especially New Year's Eve and Day, which was kind of annoying considering I was trying to watch college bowl games or just generally take it easy and the work outings didn't amount to many hours, anyway.
However, you do what you gotta do, I guess.
So, I didn't get to more posts or comments like I wanted to. Not sure what this week brings yet, but it could be quieter. My immediate boss is supposed to be back in town after taking off most of last week, which is part of the reason why I was a bit busier than I've been.
So, we'll see.
And yes, onward and hopefully upward!
A little frustrating the calls came at these times, hopefully you've had a bit more on more suitable days for putting work in.
I see we have a little upward momentum in the new year, have we finally turned the corner...

Last week was pretty much the same. It's just that there wasn't a holiday that I would have liked to be home for with my family the entire time. I thought maybe things would be turning around for COVID-19 infections in our state, but it could be that reporting actually dropped rather than the number of cases because we're back up and somewhere between 1,200-1,750 a day again—so who knows. One county was on the brink of dropping down to high risk, which means it can actually open up for dine-in, but the other seven or eight counties I go to regularly aren't really anywhere near opening.
