RE: Coinbase listing makes the Irish news.

Quick question again @niallon11

Still using hive engine, as for now its what I understand... kind of...

So am i best to stake all the tokens i have accumulated in there?

Is there any risk to doing so?

Do i earn APR for leaving it there?

I have 8 Leo staked... does that mean i will earn Cub at some stage?

Sorry for all the noob questions!

My advice would be to stake all tokens that you have so far. There is no risk and you can unstake again ( with a powerdown period. Each token is different but it will take a few weeks.)

There are a lot of different types of token and there are some like Index, LBI and Liotes that will reward you with more more tokens for holding.

Then there are tribe tokens like sports, leo, palnet that are linked to separate tribes. These will earn you curation rewards for voting on content linked to their token. If you see my post here it is tagged ( LEO, Palnet, Neoxian, which are all tribes and will earn all of those tokens for the one post depending on how much stake the voters have in each token.)

The ship has sailed on free $CUB token so the only way to get them now is to buy or trade for them. Those 8 LEO in you wallet give you a small bit of stake in their tribe so like hive power, you will earn curation rewards for voting on leo posts if they are staked to your account. Not a huge amount but it grows over time.

If you are writing posts, try to tag them for as many RELEVANT tribes as possible. If your writing anything linked to crypto or finance tag "leofinance" if its sports tag ""sportstalk" and ones like "proofofbrain for anything original content"

Over time you will keep growing your tokens balance and your votes will earn you more curation. It all about long term planning and building your stake in each tribe. I focus on about three tribes that i like and think have a big future.

All questions are welcome. I've been here three years and there is a lot to figure out. In time i would love to start an irish tribe and bring in a lot more people to hive. That is one for the future though and we would need a solid base of users first to get it going.

That's mighty @niallon11

Really appreciate the steer and shared knowledge.
The Irish tribe idea sounds cool as well. I suppose you'd need 100 initially to get it going. Definitely something worth looking at though. What surprises me is that I don't see more Irish creative types here - it's a wonderful community for artists, musicians etc... Maybe its the technical obstacle that's preventing it for now?
