Hello! I am abtc4me!
I exist on Hive in other manifestations, but I have created this account to focus on a mission that I have neglected for years.
A Purpose
You see, I have always wanted to be able to say I owned one bitcoin. In fact, I have often told other people they should strive to own one bitcoin.
Alas! I have managed to careen through the cryptocurrency world helter skelter for more than a decade with no bitcoin to show for it.
I do own many other cryptocurrencies with a total value greater than the value of 1 BTC. Somehow, its not the same.
So, I have started this account for the sole purpose of acquiring a single bitcoin with nothing more than the 0.03073341 LTC that I funded it with.
A Plan
I don't have a detailed plan yet, but I am working on that.
My previous Hive manifestations have been as chaotic as the rest of my cryptocurrency journey, but I have learned a bit along the way. So my initial focus was to set up a Hive account correctly.
I bought an account through blocktrades, so I could use a fresh email and funding. This account is not tied in any way to my others, and will not receive any assistance from the others financially. I want to achieve my 1 BTC goal independently and completely from scratch.
No outside money of any kind will be added to this account. Outside exchanges will be used when needed, but with money from this account only. The only source of money is going to be the LTC used to setup the account initially (about $5 worth).
I changed and saved new passwords.
Now I am writing an introductory post.
After that, who knows? Hive has many ways to earn and I hope to grow the account as quickly as possible and buy BTC at opportune times along the way. My intent is to blog about my thinking and process along the way. Hopefully others may decide to join in their own personal journey to 1 BTC!
A Goal
I tend to work better under pressure, so I am going to set a very difficult, but hopefully not impossible goal of 1 BTC in one year! Once this goal is achieved I will have essentially bought 1 BTC for 0.030733413 LTC! Well, and some time/energy :-)
It may not happen in one year, but no matter. Working to achieve it in one year will ensure that I get there as fast as possible.
