If you want to claim the 75 XTM bonus you have to verify via whatsapp bro! I don't like that too and the team promised they will switch the veification method in the future but until then it is what it is!

Only if you want to complete account verification. You can continue to use Torum without verifying your account.
We are always taking feedback to improve our platform. The phone number measure is taken to ensure every member on Torum is a real person. The number of spams across different crypto social media is just sad.
Yes I think is the only way to give your number, the whatsapp is mandatory for the verification.
