Stupidity vs Ignorance. I See a Clear Winner Here

"Our world is unlikely to change until people realize the power of money creation, and demand to have it restored to public control." I love this quote, I simply love it because most of "the evil" that's running around modern society is rooted in money.

...

First you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women. Al Pacino gave us another great "word of advice", one that many have made a bible out of it. Some individuals have become so desperate about chasing money, power, and women that they lost the whole purpose of life on the way.

They say there's an endless war between good and evil, black and white, and between intelligent forces and the "less intelligent ones". I'd say the true war we have as a society right now is with ignorance. This one is so abundant it really hurts.

Much of the shit, the bad ones that happen in the world right now is caused by ignorance and not stupidity. There's plenty of stupidity too, but you can't fix that, it must be accepted. You're either born with intelligence or not... That simple.

You can fix ignorance, though, cuz the amount of information we have access to, thanks to technology and the internet is insane. If you don't know how money is being created and see something shady happening with it(like helicopter money or the threat of CBDCs) you can research and once you're clear with that you're good to go with better versions of money(Bitcoin, etc).

If you're not ignorant, then you'll definitely know by now that Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok are "rat poison" when it comes to social media and you can at least limit your usage of "such substances" if not ditch it all. That's when you'll find out about Hive.

The same goes for wars, pandemics, MSM, etc...

Ignorance is such a killer. One could say that we, crypto people are far superior in this regard, but look at what happened with FTX, LUNA, Bitconnect, and many other crypto scams, all of these who have lost important funds during such floods have ended in such positions due to their ignorance.

What caused them the ignorance? Greed did that, but it was ignorance that made all these calamities possible.

We are probably a few months away from this bear market's end and once that happens there will be enough individuals saying that "it's a sucker's rally". These are going to be the actual suckers as the market will leave them behind and rally. There's no change in the patterns the crypto markets follow.

It's us, driven by ignorance, saying near every top or bottom that "this time is different". We said during the bull market peak that this time is different because of the mass adoption that is taking place and it wasn't. Now all sorts of individuals are saying that "this time is different" because of the recession and the bear market will last for years.

No, it's not. Nothing's different as long as we will have four years of halving cycles occuring. That simple. We should not ignore that.

Thanks for your attention,
Adrian

There is another thing too... Distraction... I saw so many intelligent people being distracted by some stupid things, and we don't have a lack of those... The Internet is full of noise and distractions, which was always the best strategy to hide the real intentions from people... I remember the joke that has been more than a decade...
"If you want to hide a dead body, do it on the second results page on Google"... It is funny because it is true... 😃

Regarding cycles and doing things differently, I agree with you... As much as we think it's different this time, it is more the same as before... An obvious example of all... 2018 we had a heavy bear market, and 4 years later, in 2022 here we are again... I was so mad at myself when I realized that I didn't SEE it before... And we didn't have anything in 2018 compared to what we have now...

Very well pointed.

Nothing's different as long as we will have four years of halving cycles occuring.

But how long ?
Do you believe halving will still have this same big influence in year 2030 ?
I doubt, and very much

I do. I believe the influence is going to be more psychological than having much to do with the coins in circulation. We are trading more coins than they are in circulation anyway thanks to exchanges and leverage trading, etc.

I can still remember how surprised I was as a teen when I learned about how banks create money out of nothing, and that they weren't required to keep 100% of their deposits on hand.

A few years ago, I watched a documentary showing how each of our four US Presidents that were assassinated: Presidents Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, and Kennedy when he signed Executive Order 11110 allowing the US to print its own debt-free money, and was shot dead 5 months later, were all cut down after seeking to rein in the power of the central banks.

I got to this type of enlightenment a bit later, unfortunately, but grateful for that nevertheless.

Well that's rightly said too much of money owned by a stupid person will make the individual more stupid.
Money and power are the two influential tools in our society, well if you include women, I don't really think it's significantly effective because there are also gays too who are richer.

Only what a focused person need is information about his or her concern and that's all.
It is true we will soon be out of the bear and it will be nice seen coins pump through again. Thanks for sharing
