That's a very interesting point of view. I believe this is not only true for technological development. We are in a situation where the system and it's centralized structures has more and more difficulties to cope with the speed of change. The covid crisis illustrated quite well how this centralized approach has its limits.
The more complexity we have, the more we might rely on decentralized and creative solutions that can be enabled by crypto technologies.

The key is the other areas that the technology rolls into. It has a powerful impact in those areas.
It all requires funding to such a large degree that we are talking a totally new approach to things.
