Cool story, doesn't mean you can abuse the rewardpool with sybil attacks and tricking other stakeholders. It's actually pretty gross the lengths you've gone to earn more when you should be a role model to others considering what these chains have given you over the years and try to contribute some back, but nah, let's power down and quit when the scheme comes to light, huh? Disgusting, deep down you know what you're doing or you're just another sociopath we got plenty of in these early adopter days.

But but I thought it was all about post quality?! If a post is good enough to vote why does the author attached to it matter?! Literally the exact argument you have made for years...
You think your posts are quality? You're as replaceable as anyone. Hive doesn't need another kingscrown who's not as dumb and see-through in his actions but still in the long run obvious hence me never really upvoting your content. I'd rather invest in someone who contributes in other ways to the ecosystem than just spin articles in a meaningful way, especially with your earnings just rewriting crypto news doesn't cut it. It's been many times I've looked at your content after just having read something similar on r/cryptocurrency or twitter. There will be plenty of new people that will replace you and I'm not someone to care if they invest thousands of dollars or not, rather not if that means they think that makes it okay to try and gain an advantage over others in the post reward pool. Goodbye.
I never said anything about myself, I was making a point referencing people upvoting what they like. I am not defending anything at this point, I am simply making the point that you, among several others, have argued for proof of brain to reign supreme and the post quality should be the only thing that matters to a voter. It shouldn't matter who it was written by or how many posts they wrote etc, the post itself should be judged by the voters. Again, not defending anything, I am just making a point that it's ironic how that has been argued for so long and then also now the point is argued that people must disclose any alt account that may also post from, my point is that the two arguments are incongruent. Anyways I literally don't/didn't want to leave on bad terms. I am honestly truly sorry if what I did has hurt or upset people. That was never my intent. I honestly considered HIVE my home and was hoping to be a part of it for a long time to come as I do think it will eventually have many many users and use cases. Especially when popular games etc start being built on it.
Well you must understand that stakeholders and others feel betrayed and disgusted by your greed to trick many into voting not just one of your accounts but two. At the same time you clearly aren't as dumb as others to understand the importance of people being up front about their accounts on a platform that literally gives others the freedom to remain anonymous and be rewarded not just for their content but also for their contributions which has a big spectrum. I may have said content first some time ago but that has clearly changed over time. We all know how curation is flawed even here on Hive which compared to Steem looks like utopia in that regard and how some consistent authors keep earning way more than others and delegations are not always given to the right people to incentivize a healthy platform over ROI. So yeah, I don't just hate greed in general and have done so in forever but it's not just authors that after the years of 75% rewardpool cut have been the biggest abusers of the pool but now it's also curators who stack their votes on popular authors like you.
Your buddy cryptographic really didn't help me trying to look at this case from a neutral perspective and seeing you thank him for supporting you in this thread didn't help you either, so I apologize for my tone but I don't apologize for the way you've been treated recently cause you should've known better not to do what you've done especially considering I'm sure you do quite well in the crypto space in general with trading that you still have the audacity to maximize in any way you can here I find pretty disturbing. When and if Hive becomes the next big thing and everyone is here it will surely not be for the people who didn't give a fuck to try and spread their votes around to raise retention and a healthy distribution. Thankfully Hive is bigger than most of us here today and the shitty actions of some are not going to affect it much, but it still shouldn't be okay and welcomed to do so. Some people use anonymity for their security and to be able to say what they want without repercussions or threats, others use it as a mantle to behave like they want, seems you chose the latter. I like to have my actions and history on this chain speak for myself rather than my words.
He wasn't the first (not even among "Steem Guild" members) and he won't be the last, sadly. Imagine doing that regularly with Ned's 5M HP voting power in an n2 system.
remember when the current diminishing vote strength on posts that are 12 hours from payout was implemented mainly cause of gavvet abusing ned's keys?
Yes. And I still have screen shots of that stuff.
