reported on January 2 that market data showed that Bitcoin rose like a rainbow tonight, with the price breaking through the $30,000 mark at 20:17, and the market value breaking through $570 billion. At 21 o'clock, the price once again stood at 31,000 U.S. dollars, reaching a maximum of 31,300 U.S. dollars, a record high.

According to the Mars Finance APP market channel, Bitcoin stood at $30,000 at 20:17 tonight, setting a new record high. Then, it quickly stepped back to the vicinity of $29,700. At 20 points, the cryptocurrency went up strongly, reaching the top line of $30,000 again.

After hitting the $30,000 point for the second time, Bitcoin continued to rise. The price broke through $30100, 30200, 30300, 30400, 30500, and 30600 within 20 minutes. At 21 o'clock, Bitcoin further exerted its momentum, and the price broke through 31,000 US dollars, and the upward trend was pressing. Affected by this, the total value of the cryptocurrency market exceeded $8,000, and the market value of Bitcoin accounted for more than 71%, close to the 2017 level.

While the price rose sharply, Bitcoin's market value ranking also jumped above the "global chip giant" TSMC and Buffett's Berkshire. According to Asset Dash data, compared with the stock market value of well-known companies, Bitcoin ranks 9th, surpassing TSMC (565.489 billion U.S. dollars), Berkshire (543.678 billion U.S. dollars), and under Alibaba (629.682 billion U.S. dollars) .

At the same time, FiatMarketCap data shows that the market value of Bitcoin has risen to the 17th place among all listed legal currencies, surpassing the Singapore dollar (SGD).

It should be noted that, unlike the previous market, with the exception of ETH, other mainstream cryptocurrencies have not followed the rise. Market data from the Mars Finance APP shows that among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, only ETH has increased significantly, with the price rising from $720 to above $760, an intraday increase of nearly 4%, while other cryptocurrencies have seen little increase.

As of press time, Bitcoin is quoted at $30,799, an increase of 5.44%.
