Does anyone have an answer for Shaine?

  • Does declining rewards on a post decline both HP and LEO?
  • How does this affect Leo ad revenue?

Perhaps @taskmaster4450le can help as he's been doing this with LeoGlossary and @khaleelkazi for the financials…

Thanks!

It declines Hive, I am not sure it does the same with Leo.

All of the LeoGlossary pages are decline rewards. As for Ad Revenue, completely separate payment system so that page is eligible to generate rewards and evergreen content will be paid out.

He is posting image from book as it is, which invites plagiarism claims. He should instead highlight certain lines and add his interpretation of those para. Because summary review is one thing but posting the colored posts would be invite for hive police.

I think he's talking about his book summary posts (rather than the images which would be another matter). He's declined rewards for those but I guess he wants to know if and how that affects Leo.

Yes it affects entire blockchain.. all frontend would have payout decline.

That's what I'd have thought, but it doesn't show as declined on InLeo, whereas on PeakD it clearly does. I guess what shows up on Leo simply won't pay out after the 7 days (it's just hypothetical) and return to zero.

Unless leo is doing something on layer 2 code to move away from 7 day payout .. we can't say. But most likely your theory is right it just stays as number.

There’s a group that has been targeted precisely for allowing quoted material.

Declining rewards will decline both Hive and all Hive second layer tokens including Leo.
