📘 'Think Like Da Vinci' by Michael Gelb
A book with principles based around the methods of the great renaissance man and ‘boosting your everyday genius’…
Apparently this guy achieved a few things in his life so perhaps worth emulating or at least studying a little!
As well as a bit of background on Leonardo, you’ll learn:
- Curiosità – An insatiable quest for knowledge and continuous improvement
- Dimostrazione – Learning from experience
- Sensazione – Sharpening the senses
- Sfumato – Managing ambiguity and change
- Arte/Scienza – Whole-brain thinking
- Corporalità – Body-mind fitness
- Connessione – Systems thinking
As you can see, you’ll also get a chance to brush up on your Italian… 7 words of it anyway 😉 🇮🇹
The book seems to be in English, I'm intrigued that these headlines are in Italian(?) well, I believe they spoke Latin by then?
Yep, in English. Just some of the titles/concepts in Italian as that's where Da Vinci is from and where these ideas were formed. A bit of fun I guess, adds a little jazz, and a nod to the Renaissance etc.
Nice to know.~
