Yeah, those houses are very, very OLD! And where are you gonna stay while the renovations are happening that will most likely cost in the tens of thousands of dollars? Are you gonna move in there and stay like it's your home? If it's a vacation home, will you stay there enough to make it worth the expense? I just don't see how it's a bargain.

WTH is wrong with people? Why do they think it's okay to deface monuments like that? I guess they learn it isn't when they get arrested for it.
Yeah, very strange. If people have their beliefs that's one thing (whether we agree or not), but defacing old monuments or priceless paintings etc is a bit much!

Generally we think about the best trips... but what about the least enjoyable ones? Haha ha...
I hope you have none, but if you travel a lot, you might find some that you don't like very much.
For sure… some are best to forget! Vietnam is a great country, but I had a few issues in Hanoi. Then again, if I went back I might have a far smoother experience.

What is the one country in the world you want to visit but never have?
For me it is Italy.
Italy is a great choice, I plan to go there again asap. Spent a few days in Rome but that's it.
For me, somewhere in South America, or Costa Rica perhaps. New Zealand is another.
As for Europe, Croatia is near the top of the list… and will hopefully put that right in September!
