📖 Chapter 6… priorities!

Did you know the word 'priority' originally existed only in singular form? There was no such thing as 'priorities' until much later as by definition it meant the one most important thing. That has indeed changed over the years…

Either way, we need to get it and them sorted so we can get moving. And this short chapter covers exactly that (link below 🔗 ⬇️ )

I like a quote that says "if everything is urgent then nothing is urgent" I think if we make everything a priority we will still be where we started, not knowing what to do first...

Exactly! You end up running round in circles. Sometimes you just have to stop and evaluate, then do what needs to be done.

I'm just learning about that now :-) And it makes sense that the word shouldn't have a plural form. It's interesting though how it changed.

Yeah, language adapts to fit in with the needs of the people communicating… just shows how complicated we made things!

Although we can have several important things, just one most important at a given time (especially if they contradict each other a little). Helps keep us focused and not get distracted…

Haha yes. Things are simple but it's us who complicate them :) Guess we have to unlearn most :-)
