When in Rome…
A little jaunt to the sublime Italian capital – Roma!
What a thoroughly interesting city full of wonders and history. I must say I enjoyed my few days there… watched some live rugby, saw the sights, visited the Vatican, sampled some foody delights, had a proper espresso or 2, and generally 'roamed' around taking it all in.
The architecture was all I expected and more. Not just the obvious places but around every corner there were structures that may not appear in any guide books but added to the cool vibe.
Here are a couple of shots with me at the Colosseum, looking down the river near where I was staying and some tasty gelato…
