Working from home has become an increasing trend in today’s society. With the internet, it is easier than ever to work remotely. However, while technology has made this option more accessible, it has also created a lot of confusion.
The number of people working from home is on the rise. In fact, the number of people working from home has increased by a whopping 65% since 2008. This is due to the rise of telecommuting, the internet, and a slow economy. Although working from home is beneficial for some interm of reducing stress, increase productivity, and create a flexible work schedule. That might be the reason why many people prefer it for it flexibility, better work-life balance, and the allowance to have more control over their time in a fast-paced world.
But working from home can also provide challenges. However, it is not for everyone. There are many people who work from home and love it. There are also many people who hate working from home. It all depends on what you're looking for in a job and what kind of person you are.
Are you an introvert or an extrovert? If you're an introvert, working from home may not be for you. You'll need to get out and meet new people.
Working from home can save many time. You no longer have to commute to work, and you can work in the comfort of your own home which can be a great way to get work done and still have some time for yourself.
The big benefit in working home is that you can control your work schedule, your incoming and also give a better way take care of your personal and family responsibilities while still having a job.
Some people can not cope with the distraction that come with day-to-day office work or business and they get exhausted and don't have peace in there job, however to avoid this kind situation working from home can be a great way for them to work efficiently.
What are the risks of working from home?
There are many people who work from home and love it. But, there are also many people who work from home and hate it. The risks are the same whether you are working from home or not.
The biggest risk is that you can be distracted from your work. You might be tempted to watch TV, surf the Web, or take a nap. You might also be tempted to take care of your personal needs instead of working.
If you are working from home, you might also be tempted to work all day and then take a break for the evening.
But I believe is not for everyone, it all depends on what individual feel about their work-life balance. So I'll likely to put it as question; Do you find that working from home creates more work or less? Do you feel more like yourself or are you constantly on call and always feeling stressed? Depending on your answers to these questions, working from home may or may not be for you.

@adedayoolumide i agree with your thoughts but I believe that it isn't for me...I am a workoholic....and when I stay at home and open my laptop I am on it for like straight 10-12 hours which at the end becomes frustrating...So I prefer going to the office and following a usual routine...thanks for the article though🤗🤗
Definitely, not everyone will find it interesting, some will admit to the routine of go to office and have good relationship with people and yet don't have any distraction or stress. Good to hear you part of the story..
My friend is workaholic.lol, it nice to hear that
That's true I really love going to office..lol🤭🤣
That is interesting my friend. Keep it up
I believe that working from home is a great thing and can be much more productive and profitable than moving and going to work elsewhere.
Obviously, as you wrote, there are many factors that come into play.
The amount as in everything in life, I think is knowing how to manage.
You're right, working from home might be profitable because you don't deal with stress and don't spend dime moving around. But if you're introvert you will not enjoy working from home.
Yes, I agree as we said, it depends a lot on the characters of the people, there are many things to evaluate.
