Spent the whole day trying to sign up for Crypto.com to pay for some website, and then I realized I need to verify my identity and scratched the whole plan.
Verifying my identiy won't work as I'm in an unsupported country, and used A LOT of workrounds to get to that stage!!! #vpn #crypto #wasted #time #ohwell...
I have had such experience before, after doing everything to sign up for a site and even download the app, only to found out that my country is not supported. I think I got that on upbit crypto exchange.
Why don't you buy gift cards or master card using crypto and pay for whatever you like! 😎
It's a long story, but most of the options don't work in my country either... Interestingly, I found a new option just after failing today, so I'll try it next time.
We have similar issues in here, but I use gift cards that work in most cases.
What's the new option?
Bitrefill's Prepaid Visa with VPN. Not sure if it'll work in my case, but I haven't tried it yet.
Gift Cards can only get you so much, most sites don't have Gift Card functions.
I think you can get one with email only.https://coingate.com/gift-cards try this.
Will put in mind! Thanks for the link!
Do they require an ID card for verification?
I think so, I didn't pay attention to what they required of me, just that I'd have to do a KYC verification...
If they didn't require an ID then we could still do something about it. But since you assume Id is required then it's may not work
Let's say they're not asking for ID Verification, what are things that can be done? (If it helps, I already tried getting a phone number for SMS verification...)
It depends on what their asking for. I guess you left the page when you realize there's gonna be a KYC. Could you go back there and see what they require.
Some of them have different tier verification.
Yup, I should've stayed more, but I even deleted the app now.
That's unfortunate, if you ever get the time please don't forget to ping me
