If you're a person who believes something must be seen, touched, felt to be real, trying to understand something like string theory with its complexities without measure, is crazy making.
On the other hand, I've accepted a long time ago there are powers and forces beyond human comprehension at work in the universe. Maybe some day the mysteries will be unraveled, today isn't it. So, I accept it as is and move on.
String theory is just that, a theory, while mathematically based it doesn't yet have direct experimental evidence using our current technology.
