The INTERNET is killing old PC hardware

The internet has become a major obstacle for old computers, making them nearly unusable due to the high demands of modern websites. Even with lightweight operating systems like Windows 7 or Linux, old laptops struggle to load basic websites due to adverts, videos, and animations. The video demonstrates this issue using an old laptop with an AMD A4 1200 CPU from 2013, which struggles to play videos and load websites.

Switching to a different OS, such as Puppy Linux, doesn't significantly improve the experience. Old hardware is still unable to handle the demands of modern websites. Plugins like h264 IFI can help with video playback, but it's not a comprehensive solution.

The internet is not designed for older hardware. Simply installing a lightweight operating system or browser is not enough.
