If you plan to use Tuk-tuks or shop at local markets, be prepared to haggle. Bargaining is common, and while it’s understood that tourists might pay slightly more, getting overcharged can be frustrating. Consulting with your hotel can give you a ballpark estimate for transportation costs to avoid being ripped off.
