In high school, while sitting in his economics class, Josh felt an inexplicable pull away from the United States. Although he couldn't articulate it at the time, he instinctively believed that living in the U.S. wasn't meant for him. This subconscious yearning guided him to Iceland, a place he now describes as magnetic. The move to this Nordic island, prompted by his marriage to an Icelander and a job offer in the marketing department of a major travel company, felt like a natural progression in his life.
