Part 5/10:
As the Algarve's capital, Faro serves as a gateway for many tourists but often remains overlooked. This is unfortunate, as its old town filled with charming cobblestone streets and the nearby Ria Formosa Natural Park offer unique experiences. Zac and Ine were particularly fond of a boat tour they took in Ria Formosa, where visitors can discover lagoons, marshes, and several small islands.
4. Exploring the West Coast
The West Coast of the Algarve is a hidden gem featuring expansive beaches and rugged sea cliffs, all nestled within a natural park. Adventurous visitors can explore various hiking trails, and surf enthusiasts will find ideal spots like Arrifana beach. The coastal village of Aljezur is also worth a visit, showcasing traditional Algarve rural architecture.
