Ranking tenth is Naxos, the largest island in the Cyclades, located in the Aegean Sea, southeast of mainland Greece. As the greenest island in the Cyclades, Naxos is celebrated for its lush valleys, rugged coastlines, and numerous sun-kissed beaches. The largest city, Naxos Chora, boasts beautiful whitewashed buildings and an ancient Venetian castle that transports visitors back in time. A hallmark of Naxos is the iconic Portara door, a remnant of the Temple of Apollo, dating back to 530 BC.
