Part 3/9:
We took a quick metro ride for just 9 euros to Monastiraki Square, a vibrant area rich in history and shopping possibilities. The Acropolis and the Parthenon, masterpieces of ancient architecture, dominate the skyline. Due to the summer heat, an early start for sightseeing is recommended, as temperatures can soar. We indulged in traditional Greek pastries for breakfast, discovered the delightful Plaka neighborhood filled with colorful houses, and treated ourselves to authentic Greek salads and mouthwatering moussaka in the surrounding eateries.
