After immersing ourselves in Athens, we set out to explore the stunning Greek islands via the ferry system. The ferries are not only cost-effective, ranging from 12 to 90 euros, but they also provide a scenic and comfortable travel experience. To save money, we opted for the shoulder months such as May, June, and September, avoiding the peak summer crowds while enjoying pleasant weather.
Having planned ahead, we booked ferries in advance using apps like FerryHopper. Our first island stop was Paros, renowned for its sandy beaches, picturesque towns, and warm atmosphere. We stayed close to the famous Naoussa, partaking in vibrant beach hopping and indulging in local delicacies.
