Part 3/6:

On the way to the Highlands, the bus journey revealed stunning scenery—lochs, mountains, and the beauty of nature converging to create a breathtaking view. The tour guide, a Polish native with a thickening Scottish accent, shared fascinating tales and pieces of history. They even drove past locations used in iconic movies, including the famous James Bond film "Skyfall."

After wandering through tourist-packed spots, lunchtime arrived in Fort Augustus, a quaint town offering picturesque views. A Loch Ness cruise awaited, the perfect opportunity to embark on a magical adventure. The murky waters of the Loch, resulting from the peaty soil surrounding it, only added to its mystique. At 800 feet deep, it certainly was a captivating place steeped in folklore and mystery.
